  1. a new version of some planes by thirdwire are always a interesting thing especially if it have some new features. i just hope that those new planes will have a better finition than those in woe (the f-15 eagle have a unfinished cockpit, the mig-23 had no damage model, the a-10 had some buggy rear area and so on) really can't what this will bring to us.
  2. I hope some major features and change will be added in woi and i hope some long time issues will be corrected. there is now some long time since anything had been done in the jet area, when was out the last patch for the jet series? more than a year now.

  6. the question is why the people which you talk about (or the others) did it? the better way to solve (or at least trying to do it) this tendancy is to know why. but a sure thing is that's not good in any maneer to our community.
  7. i'm not exactly speaking about moddeling real cities (as sfp1 landscape is a fictionous one) but about moddeling something that looks like a real one but whatever, as you said, to produce a realistic looking city is really a huge and harsh job.
  8. great moddeling but i think that the most difficult thing will be to make cities like real ones or something organized like cities keep up the good work guys!!!!

  10. i never use Alt-N, i like to struggle with fuel consumption. when i said the gameplay is more important than the map scale, it's a reference to a higher target density than on a full scale map.
  11. yes the subtile choice between distance accuracy (the 1:1 scale) and gameplay the gameplay must prevail in the goal to get the most pleasure from the game.

  15. Every one is waiting for something new in the spf1 jet universe. And of course every one of us (at least me ) want it and wait it as soon as possible. For my part i bet on a release sometimes before christmas.

  17. i think that the community definitely need tk to release a object placement tool, to make things easier in this area.
  18. previews aren't a problem at all (at least from my point of view), it helps to keep the moral high toward this game series, since the overall dev of it is pretty slow (of course for some good reasons as the small team of the main dev).
  19. it seems that in single mission the sims picks up planes randomly, but in campaign it seems you mainly get the plane model of the squadrons attached to the base (had to be confirmed).
  20. did you try your prop planes under FE and its expension? maybe we do not need static planes anymore
  21. yes he really did it in the expansion set he add randomly generated parked aircrafts too (in single mission and campaign)
  22. the on-off engine is implemented in the FE expansion, so i guess this feature will be added too in the next SFP1/WOV/WOE patch series.
  23. the rwr display is the same in the 70dll and in the 60dll.
