They can not take off from carriers but they can do it from ground airfield ( already saw them doing this) -

Already tried it, ai flights appears no more on flight decks ( even if told to do So), they land on carriers at the end of mission but they do not take off from. Asked the question to TK, He told me it's by design. Maybe Time to make a kind of petition -

true, the TKME is really good to setup the general layout of the mission and the KMD is good for refining the details, they complete each other this is mainly due (for me) to the lack of zoom level of the TKME -

i don't really understand the terrain will sold by DLC in his statement, but who knows? To have a definitive statement about his terain management i'll wait his next patch/hotfix to see what will happen to this difference of square/tiles between pre and post may patch. -

we'll see where all this will lead us. for now TK seem focused on DLC and planes, with a new hunter and a new skyhawk variant (maybe A4-M?) annouced. -

I've the strange feeling with this discussion, if continues this way or if it simply continues, That the f-14 game Will be his last game ( if He ever released it) The gap between his policy and some parts of the modders is growing up, and We all know That if they weren't at this point implicated un the game, the series would gave die several years agoo Apart of course if all sf fans are wrong and the game series is really played only by people with vanilla installs, but i really doubt it -

if it continue this way, i think the divorce between modders and TK will be pronouced in a short time (this time people are not talking about a bug but about a "game orientation" which is a far worse subject) -

Maybe if He listen our "complains", In the NeXT patch he'll extend the drawing distance. Infortunately He Will not answer to the question He'll do That or not but He Will not give us the answer until the NeXT patch Ps: maybe DanW Will do it? ( the problem maybe discussed In the team) -
hello i'm messing around with the Mission editor and as i want to simulate a beach assault on the anatolian map, i put some udaloy cruisers of the coast to cover the red landing (and during the cas mission in fact they do it ) but i faced a problem, as soon as they see my flight they move and i want them to stay fixed i precise that i did put 0 in speed paramters and did not gave them any waypoint

tried the adjustement too, still no joy maybe it's time to make the right post on TK's forum to ask him about adjusting a higher fading distance? some highly charged map before the patch looks somewhat empty now -

off the "landing beach" i also put cargo ship and they do not move even if attacked it seems that only combat vessels do manoeuvers when attacked look at this mission i'm building (the mission is CAS but i put anti-ship mission by other flight) -

i may agree with you but we also know that with TK things are never so clear he never add/correct some (very) olds request and on the other hand he often said he'll never add this or make this and add it several games or patchs later. ps: the apg-63 and apg-66 of the f-15 and f-16 did have multitargeting features when they enter service? -

a thirdwire "reading" of a plane is always interesting and we must not forget that the modder's planes have to cope with the game engine limitations at the time they are made and the fact that the next version of the same plane by thirdwire will get new hardcoded new features of the game engine (i like to speculate about thirdwire next feature and i'm pretty sure that we'll get radar multi-targeting for the thirdwire f-14 for exemple)
