  1. what other sims mod Fuzing anyway? rather TK finish exterminating Bugs. The name DCS F-4 is already taken by Eagle Dynamics.... But DCS Super Sabre is open.
  2. Tough Love maybe? I dunno.. The people are in an outrage, because SF used to be openly modifiable, and now its not as open, and when you take things away from the people... the people get upset.
  3. Blame MS, they killed DirectPlay to force everyone to GamesForWindows Live. Something an External Team (Xbox) designs, and another team (Windows) takes it and makes a mess of it.
  4. i refuse to buy an iPhone or iPad
  5. if we cant make one big "SF2 Realism" mod, then they should be a Series: ie: SF2 Realism Series - 1st Person Views SF2 Realism Series - Weapons Performance SF2 Realism Series - Aircraft Flight Model etc etc For 1st person views: Every Seat needs to be moved back a lil and up, and angled down. the Cockpit Cameras in the View List need to have the FoV values adjusted.
  6. I think we're tired of the evil comm building... Not hatin'... Just sayin'....
  7. if 3rd parties do it better, he locks it out. next patch, the cloud TGAs will be locked :p
  8. TWs problem is that he's trying to do everything himself, he doesnt want 3rd party help, TW is like a 3 man operation. He cant Hire no one because he doesnt have the funding. He cant make any large changes to code, because he doesnt have the funding. But last time i checked, I seriously doubt he's ever tried to secure funding or publisher backing because of how bad Strategy First f***ed him over for SFP1. by his responses I'd say most of his available resources are going towards Strike Fighters Mobile.
  9. There's a TW spy on CA, next week Screenshots for a "Cloud Pack" DLC will start showing up on TWs Facebook......
  10. Prepar3d should be getting a DX11 update and Weapons Platform/Module update.
  11. i havent had any issues with DCS yet.
  12. forced to use TKs shader based system to paint the tiles is a killer for me.
  13. DCS has MP and now Combined Arms :p
  14. Dazzle them with their Formation Passes.
  15. Dan is a skinning Machine...
  16. maybe i should make a smoke pod.
  17. we've been demoted to tadpoles.
  18. those clouds look bangin' though.... if only TW didnt lock so much away... we could modify the GFX Engine to have better low level immersion
  19. At this point, I'd rather him create a Decent MP Code/Game Modes (Airbase Assault, Coop, free flight), and Charge $30 for it. We already pay for Mission Editor, campaign editor, and all that crap separately from the game. more and more people want MP, so do it, and put it out as a DLC module. I bet the $20 MP DLC module will outsell SF2 NA.
  20. Dont understand either.. complains that he cant do 90% of the stuff he wants to (adding to avionics, 3d models, terrain etc), due to time and budget. but spends time painting demo team paint schemes for DLC Skin Pack. At least make it a Plane Pack, w/ Yellow Missiles and smoke pods. I've been spending more and more time in DCS. Occasionally going back to SF2 for those "quickie" missions, when I dont have time to run through an entire start up sequence. but no MP limits how much I play SF2 now.
  21. i cant even see the model.. its too dark.. lol.. Daytime shots!!!!!
  22. we'll get thunderbird shots tomorrow.... you'll see.
  23. I've been using the same method for the last few years.. and It works. Installed the Base Game (SF2, SF2V, SF2E, SF2I, SF2Exp1, SF2Exp2, DLC, SF2NA), Created a ZIP/RAR of the Entire ThirdWire Folder, Put it in the ISO/BACKUPs Folder with any patches. When a New Patch Comes Out, I Move My Mods Folder (well you can rename it too), Wipe my Thirdwire Game Folder, Extract a fresh copy from the RAR, Patch, make a New Mods Folder, and Migrate them over groups at a Time. Just patching over a modded install is asking for trouble with Models, Effects, maps, shiz basic game functions.
