Thanks, no rush, I knew you were a lil busy, BF3 looks awesome!!, looking forward to that!! i wonder if I can just convert the BMPs to JPGs, and put the JPGs in the folder and delete the BMPs, or if Im gonna have to go back and re-do all the materials in 3d Studio max to use the JPGs. -

the low res menu only happens 1/10 times usually, and it usually happens when i have other things open i can see the general area where exit is, and it changes color, so i click it to exit the program. -

Start, Control panel, Personalization, Under Basic/Highcontrast Theme, choose windows 7 basic. MS Says that Aero is enabled based on WDDM, if its randomly cutting it on an off then its doing it because of the load on the GPU. or something along those lines. the only game I've had swithc me from Aero to Basic on its own was BattleField play for free. also: Right click on the SF shortcut, Properties, Compatibilty tab, then check Disable Visual themes and Disable Desktop composition -

you mean the menu appears to be like 128x128 stretched to cover the screen?? I get that every now and then (about 1 in 10 startups) in SF2. Have you tried dropping it to basic prior to starting SF2? (i tend to drop mine to basic before gaming, and using anything that would require the hardware overlays ((recording console footage in HD)). Windows only drops it to Basic when it detects a program fault, or incompatibility with the Aero UI (perhaps your game is somehow now configured to run 16bit color?) -

JATO Looks Like the Whole Taskforce, I wonder if the 3d Models are there yet. The Nimitz and the Wasp... I might have to go diggin through INIs to see if anything significant changed. -

A lot of things were fixed and a new beta package should be out this weekend to the testing group. the few remaining things to fix is the deck crew models, Julhelm, I never heard back from you?, and some performance adjustments to help with framerates on lower end machines. -

That latest package went out via email on Sept.30th, to all that applied and met criteria. Also, is anyone willing to build a low polygon carrier deck crew model?? The one I built for the carrier model just doesn't look great, and low polygon characters isn't something I'm efficient at, Credit will of course be given for the 3D model and textures. I just need one body in MAX format (preferably posable) and texture maps. I can change the Colors of the crew members, and place them on the carrier deck and pose/animate them. -
i got a few spare Harddisks I can load it up on..

REM out all the Collision and Min/Max Extents.... if the problem goes away there's a typo in one of the coordinates. But a CTD usually calls for either a mesh, sound, or animation ID that doesnt exist. -

gonna test my brother's system now.. Edit: Everything Maxed, still pegged at 60Fr/sec (vSync). however, I did have a dip to 17 somewhere according to debug screen, i didnt notice it, might been when I ATL+N'd into the combat zone,, even still, it never did that before, His system kept the game at 60 Frames/sec regardless... so it dipped with Sept. -
after FLARE all they have left to do is bring some of the AI planes up to par w/ the F-16s.

Found a box in the closet of old PC parts (AMD K6-III, 10 or so burnt/retired CDRom Drives, a bunch of IDE Hard Drives, 2 dead socket 7 Mobos, Voodoo3 PCI, and a bunch of random cards. The Falcon4 CD was inside one of the CD-ROM Drives, I had to paper Clip release it to open it..

i dont remember where, but i acquired the entire Falcon 4.0 manual in PDF a few years ago, which doesnt help WHILE im playing, maybe i load it on a laptop and set it next to me.. another note, You guys are NEVER gonna guess where I found my Falcon 4.0 CD...........
