  1. In missions its very possible to have ships in formations, not so in campaigns.
  2. I was actually thinking about this earlier today, but in an late 50's early 60's Scenario.
  3. I always used the La-15 for the domestic Parani Fighter.
  4. There is no way of getting ships to sail together. One way is to place all the ships as carriers. they start out together, but in the end they wind all fudged up. Second way is to make the carrier not move and place ships around it as static targets. Hope that helps
  5. Hey Kreelin, you getting the MF people to make additions to the models?
  6. I agree with Gunrunner and I think its about time this thread got locked.

  10. TMF MiG-21F-13. I wish they would make a MF and Bis model.
  11. I was watching defcon 2 on the history channel (hosted by Tom Clancy), and it showed several clips of Neptune crews intercepting Soviet Freighters bound for Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
  12. World in Conflict

I tried the beta and thought it was a decent game. I probably won't buy it, but I just wanted to hear what you thought of it.
  13. Try first, then ask. Make back ups of any modded data before proceeding and try to figure it out. It will help out modding skills.

  16. Happy Birthday mppd!

    Yep, Have a nice one.
  17. Hey guys, I'm currently studying Soviet, Warsaw pact, and Russian formations. We went over the large formations, but didn't really cover the small parts and the professor left it up to us to study. Basically I need to know the basic formations from fire team (smallest formation) to about regiment size for the regular infantry, motorized infantry, tanks, and airborne forces. Also, what is a senior riflemen? Is that the equivalent to a fire team leader?
  18. Not So Boring Duty

Last time I was out at Beale, they had the U2 pilots practicing touch and goes. They had two Comaros and a Chevy SUV chasing after them. It was pretty neat to watch.
  19. @ Typhoid Modern Military History and Tactics, covers from 1945 to know with emphasis on Cold War tactics of NATO and Warsaw @ Jeremiah Weed That helped to explain the attack tactics better. The professor did talk about how they would attack en mass with an advance element, but he never really described the compositions. EDIT I found something on an early Egyptian formations of the 1967 War. It should be pretty close to the layout of Soviet formations right? EDIT 2 Found some more info
  20. I don' think my professor knows or even has these books. I really don't need you to send them to me (all though I do like the in depth reading and translating), more or less for now, I just need a general out line of the smallest formation to about mid size. Thanks Lindr.
  21. Yeah I'll PM them. I know theirs a field manual 100-2-3 that has some of the info, but I would have to buy it.
