That is the question everyone is asking about OFP2. They haven't released specs yet on what can run the game (and no, just because it uses the EGO engine doesn't mean it will preform the same.) My guesses are at least a dual core, 1 gig of ram, and 7 series or higher (or ATI similar). Idealy you want a quad core with 2 or more gigs of ram and an 8800 (or comparable ATI).

WOI uses a new system of generating Shadow Files. You don't need the .SHD file anymore. Take a look at a stock aircraft (such as the A-4H). Look at the MiG-17F.ini and look under the shadow section. Copy that section to any addon aircraft and you should get proper shadows.

I imported the MiG-21bis from WOI into WOE. No problems.

I'm going to say a few things on this topic... 1. This isn't the targetware community or the targetware game. Don't compare two communities or the two games as they are different. 2. We work with what resources we have. Not everyone can model, but others can put two things together so at least a plane works. 3. You are what I would call a ribbet counter. Everything has to be realistic or its unacceptable. Somethings cannot be realistic right now as we don't have the right resources. That's all I have to say about this topic.

Basically it is a strategy game where you command fire fighters, police, and medical personel to deal with emergencies in a city. There is a few good mods out there especially Los Angeles mod and a few others. The one good fan site (emergency-planet.com) has disappeared, so I don't know where you can find any downloads. Its a fun game and you can do coop free play together via hamachi or the internet.

In the new version, it adds Depth of field. So you have to retune the enbseries.ini to get rid of the depth of field.

I think its to short to launch F-8 and A-4. Its possible to launch and recover aircraft w/o an angled deck, but it is much simpler to do so with an angled deck.
