Its National Back Up Your 3rd Wire Stuff Day

Is SimHQ down again?

IIRC, they mentioned the DL section at SHQ will be back later this year. No word yet on specifics or what it will have. As mentioned, though, most stuff is already here. -
Is there a Mirage 2000 available for WOE?

Like many other planes of its generation, it's still out there outselling its supposed successor! -

FYI, calling people names and/or making threats is a good way to see a thread deleted. Civil discussions of negatives in various areas is just fine. Remember, attack the idea, not the person/company/website/etc. -
I'm almost halfway done with the SP campaign and I've played the first 3 missions coop. All in all a pretty solid game. Sure, it has room for improvement, and it's still not the same as the original GR, but it's good in its own right.

Do you have the latest TIR software from Naturalpoint? It won't recognize the game without it. I don't know if you need the vector expansion to make it work or not, actually. I had the TIR 4 and it works fine. Do you get the blue light at all?

I've seen commercials on SFC lately for a new Flash Gordon series, and they've got Queen's theme in them. I don't know much else about it, although I've heard the show is to be more "serious" and less "campy" like the film was 25 years ago. It starts next month, so I figure I'll watch a couple of shows and give it a shot. I watched maybe 6 of Painkiller Jane before I gave it up, so maybe this will be better.
-
Well...I watched the first show and didn't bother to watch the 2nd. Not worthy of my time.

Should you find there's a game that requires SM3.0 to play (the X800 is only SM2), then I would recommend the card I have now--the X1950Pro AGP. Better bang for the buck than the best nvidia AGP cards out now. If you can find a dual core 939 chip, that would also be relatively inexpensive, but stock has pretty much disappeared in favor of the AM2 socket (I'm guessing you have 939 based on the chip).
-
Oh, ok. Here I thought maybe it was a controller you could plug into the USB port and get dual-analog sticks.

Unless the airplane is on the ground, in which case the car definitely gets the raw end of the deal!

I'm sure it's lurking Hebrew speaking people. Rule of thumb is that you always get many times more readers than posters.

18!?!? Oi vey, I remember back then. I'm almost twice his age!!

Well, if secretaries and trees can get a day, why NOT flying?

It's amazing the rate of HD failures among modders. Seems to happen to them more often than to anyone else I know.

Depends what kinds of tanks. Drop tanks? No. POL tanks? No. MBTs? Ok! -
Which no doubt should be made into a sticky, I think!

What do you think?

The best way to remove inertia is to lower/remove mass. Any way of doing that remains purely theoretical. -

In the old days, AF1 was based on the 707 like the E-3, but you can't take the dome off in LOMAC. -
FS 2006 v1.4 released
JediMaster replied to Revvin's topic in Racing Simulations General Discussions
The main problem is they're continually fiddling with the physics because it's never right. It's too tight, it's too loose, whatever. The physics in F1C may not have been perfect but it was livable. -
