Well been away for a while due to massive time delay with the second patch for SF. I liked SF a lot but not being able to have multi player combat is a bummer. I'm starting to feel like the 2nd patch isn't ever going to come out and if it does LOMAC will be here and everyone will flock to it instead of SF. Well guys its like this. I understand everyones opinion. Lets look at this from a money value stand point. There would be a vast more consumers buying this game if it had some popularity for a game thats full functional and doesnt crash so much. Everyone here just about has been doing flightsims for quite sometime now and some understand how to modify the game. Biohaz and Simhq have kept this game alive along with the MANY followers of flightsimmers. There are SO MANY other people out there that have zero clue about forums and virtual squadrons who have returned this game already because of the problems and the fact that there is just about no game support for this game, heck the website went Casper how stupid is that. I'm sorry everyone but this game has flopped and is taking losses. I know it has awesome potential but geez I think we waited long enough. I think that Strategy First and Thirdwire need to include everyone that has created anything for this game on their payroll. The people here at Biohaz and SimHQ have made this game fun not the actual makers of the sim....they just gave us a scooby snack and we turned it into a pizza. Im sorry if I stepped on anyone's toes here but I look at the big picture and I would be very pissed off if I was the CEO of a company that messed up through lack of communication and pre ordering to throw a incomplete sim on the market just to make the many consumers happy because of so many due date changes. They should have just changed their due date like UBI did for LOMAC to play it safe and refund anyone's money that pre-ordered this game. I really dont think SFP1 is going to rebound from this. And Ranger, I thinks its awesome that you have stood by TK like you have for this game because I would not have. It would appear to me that you are a good person and honorable. If I was TK I would disappear for a while like the SF website because until he has anything concrete to offer the many owners of this game he is just wasting everyones time here. I'm sad to say this but I re-installed Crimson Skies the other day and had more fun playing that than SF....how sad is that. PS: I know I heard that this is not TK's fault that it hit the market before it was complete but I think that theres a lot more man power behind this game than just TK, something could have been done to prevent its release to the market. It takes more than just one person to create a computer game. Also, it takes more than one person to decide to release a game before its complete. The team that created SF should have said that their completion date is way wrong and chomped on the bullet. Like I stated earlier it takes more than one person to decide to release a game. LMAO ya know what if I wanted my car to sound like a motorcycle I would just ride my motorcycle. I dont understand why so many JAP car owners keep putting these tips on their cars along with these wild muflers. Nothing sounds better than a couple of Flowmasters placed under the seats of a 1990 Bronco XLT V-8 5.8L with the pipes stopping right under the backseat. Good air flow and zero resistance. Plus a nice air charger of some sort helps because its much easier for the vehicle to suck the air in than through the straw the factory gives the vehicle. Not really bagging here just sick of hearing all these JAP cars. I almost forgot that even if a JAP car owner puts on a real mufler the pipe leading to the mufler is like 30 yards longs because it twists and turns all around the under carriage....LMAO for all you know it might be part of your bumper. I do admit though I almost bought a 2002 WRX Impreza Turbo loaded last year but I enjoyed the fact of not having any car payments which means more play money. Not to mention I get bored just driving on the road between dotted lines. Did I mention I have a NRA sticker in the window of my old Bronco. There is power to being a NRA member because the police tend to give you a warning for speeding instead of a actual over priced ticket. To those who are unclear of what NRA stands for it means National Rifle Association. I was given a warning the other day for speeding LOL. I swear the words of the officer was this, " Hmm a NRA member...have any luck this deer season?". We chatted for like 10 minutes. Now if I was driving a JAP car all gussed up with with wings and a tail rudder making sounds like a GSXR 750 Suzuki I would have been the proud owner of a fatty speeding ticket. Not to mention the cop would have slapped me with some sort of fix it ticket for making my car look like a airplane or my lights were brighter than a 747 front wheel light. Now Im not bagging guys like I said I wanted a WRX Turbo. LOL almost forgot theres a guy here in my town who owns a 2000 Mustang GT that from what it sounds like has a totally modified motor which I can feel running at a stop light in my car. His license plat cover reads....This car eats rice for snacks and Chevy's for lunch. He also has a NRA sticker in his window and a Marine Core sticker. I bet this guy never gets tickets. Us Jokers are in well at least for sure 2 of us, Cowboy and the Trash. We like throwing rocks just need some targets because we're getting bored shooting each other and those poor newbies...gotta feel bad for the newbies. Would this be on full sim mode or would there be some normal radar included? Guns only or do we get bottle rockets too? Could always play a nice game of cut throat if the teams are unfair. The dual boot works great. I was using WinXP for a while with the dual boot but finally got sick of going into win98 and back through rebooting. I finally just decided to go back to win98se completely because of some other games I still like to play. WinXP is awesome but I miss just switching my controller program within one OS instead of using two. I too have been using complete CH Products setup and even tested the Cougar stuff....I still like CH over the Cougar. TM

Easy fix in 4 steps!! 1. Get a gun 2. Aim it at computer 3. Pull trigger with complete satisfaction 4. Grab a Newcastle (any beer will do) and relax knowing it will never ever happen again. Mind you this is a personal fix and can get very expensive so you might want to try something less expensive and go to Pogo.com and play those games as for I have found it to be more relaxing.......I actually fall asleep at times. Man I crack myself up. I need a hobby or something. TM

Ok heres a real good question that I know has been frustrating for some. What would be a good setting for multiplay dogfighting. I personally prefer full realism on flight model, weapons, fuel, blackouts, ammo, collision, and landing. But I still like to keep the rest on normal because I seem to lose players that are still new to the game and if they dont have that targeting cone they lose interest and start their own game or leave all together. I must admit this game is way more challenging on full realism. Nothing like trying to track down planes with just the views. Thanks to flying with [ADF]Striker the other night, Cowboy and myself have spent more time on full realism and totally dig it. I find it trully fun when you only have two people playing, its a great challenge. Heck we went like for 1hr straight without a break or a ctd. TM

Oh man what we need here is some Red Rider BB guns. Everytime someone gets pissy just challenge them to a BB fight no one gets killed just really bad welts on the body. Its good clean fun. TM

Well count me in also!! I enjoy projects especially ones with lots of people involved. Maybe this will also increase the activity at Gamespy and Hyperlobby. Geez I just reinstalled USAF just because I need some interaction with targets. I can fly the A1 and I can fly the F4 extremely well so just let me know. TM
