Best advice ever! If unsure seriously, DONT OPEN IT!!! THis reminds me! If you get an email about Osama bin laden or some other terrorist being captured, DO NOT OPEN IT! Its a new virus which wipes your HD something about a sector zero or something...just dont open those either! -

Memorable Missions
i90807065 replied to WarlordATF's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I have one. When I first downloaded the F-15 and Su-27, I tried an intercept mission one of my friends made. Just to see what would happen, I selected as many pilots as possible to fly with(I believe it was 16)and started. We were on our way there when I checked my radar and saw a large mass of green. Since I was still new to the game, I thought it was radar jamming or omething. Oh boy was I wrong, suddenly, I heard this odd horn-like noise(which at the moment I did not realise was a warning). My wingman said missile inbound and I rolled inverted and released chaff/flares. The missile missed me by one wings length and I realised what I had seen on my radar. I pulled up and leveled off with less than 500 ft left. I told all my allies to break and engage. What followed was a mass ball of confusion. Tracers and jets(and parts)flying everywhere. I managed to get on the tail of the lead Flanker and got a gun kill only to realise his wingman was on mine. Luckily, I had not known that my wingman responded to orders individually and he soon got on the tail of that flanker and got his kill. I kept him by me at all times after that. The battle continued chaotically and ended with just my damaged plane(got shot up a little but my wingman saved me again) my wingman, and 3 other allied planes. One Flanker got away possibly(he was smoking so I figured hed crash before he made it home)and what was left of my team chased after the MiG's we were to intercept. We took them down easily and RTB. I got some medal but I cant remember what it was. That was the best flight ever. -
(sighs) Well thats lame...oh well ill just stick with the airsoft one I guess...though it would be awesome to walk around with one of those strapped to your back. BTW anyone know what an AR-rifle is? Someone told me its a civilian M4 basically but I dont know anything about it...

All I see is a midget mutant elephant with sticks hiding from hunters . But in all seriousness hope this mod comes out soon. Great work, promises to make large-scale battles very...interesting (Imagines being sent out on a CAS mision only to be called back before reaching allies) -

F-35A Skinning Contest
i90807065 replied to Dave's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
If im wrong please correct me but isnt the UV map the map that shows how the skin template(s) will be placed on the model? Sort of like a "link" between model and skin template(s)? Possible chain: Basic model > UV Map > Skin template(s) And these are indeed nice skins...hmm maybe I should try a Mobius 1 skin...nah ill leave that to kei (and it would take forever cuz I still havent finished the one for the Raptor) -

Question for Our Noobs
i90807065 replied to a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I still only do single missions...too much hassle to make a campaign and I can choose whatever a/c I want at any time. As for the question, I couldnt ask for much more all I wanted was better graphics, then I realized, theyre downloadable, its just my PC sucks -
