Thank you Dave, that helped with single missions as far as giving me a mission date, but I still have the problem of no weapons in the loadout screen for single missions or campaigns. EX. Let's say I click an F/A-18a for a strike mission, the hanger screen appears and I click on the loadout box, when that screen appears I look at the STORES QTY on the left and there are no weapons to choose from. This is the problem I'm having, how do I get the weapons back. The same thing happens wheather it's single player or in the campaign. -
Hello/Help :helpsmilie: I'm trying to play WOV with Vietnam 1984 campaign, I'm using the patched 08.30.06 version with Bunyaps 3 Jul 06 weapons pak. I followed the read.me to the letter, the game loads fine but the a/c's do not have any wepons when I go to the loadout screen. Also, the mission date for these a/c's (A-6E; F-4S; F-14A; F-15C; F-16Blk30; F/A-18A & Mig-29A) is not displayed in single mission play. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, getting a little frustrated Thanks in advance

I've recently installed some add-on A/C's from C5's site & this one. The install went through fine, when I pick a jet to fly ex...F-4, A-7 or other high performance fighters (except for the F-15A/C/D/E). The noise from the engines (even at idle) is so loud I barely hear my wingman, the tower or Red Crown. How can I fix this?, is there a different sound file I can use. I tried using one from a clean install of WOE and that didn't work. :helpsmilie:

Yes, It's for the F-15C. I have that A/C downloaded, the last two links you gave me, F-15C OREGAN ANG & SF F-15C 33RD TFW COMMANDER SKIN are the correct links, I downloaded them about a year ago and just now got around to installing them. Should I delete the files (skins) I have and download them again to try another installation.

I just installed the these two skins and when I play WOE (single mission), pick the skins in the drop down box and go fly I get two very blank (white) F-15's?!?!?!? I open the Aircraft folder for both A/C's and notice that the Eglin CO folder (EGco) does not have a "D" folder and the Oregan folder (ORANG) does. Now, I don't know if this is the problem, but I did copy the TextureSet to F-15 Configuration Setting file and numbered them in order per the readme text. I REALLY want the Eglin Co skin, I saw this bird often on the flightline when I was active duty Air Force stationed there and I also have a painting of this A/C, it just brings back great memories

Ok, thanks I'll give it a try. I've deleted WoE from my system and will start fresh with a clean install. One last question...I have the service packs (patches)--that were releleased before 2008) for Wov, WoE & SFP1. Does the Oct. 2008 patch for these three sims supercede the previous service packs/patches? Example...I installed WoE, would I need to install patches 07.10.06, 08.30.06 & WoE_hotfix or can I just install the Oct 2008 patch and be all set, have fun and shoot down migs.

I'm asking how do you use the weapon editor...for example, I'm playing WoI and there is a file in the main directory called 'Weapon Editor'. Is this the file you're referring to? This Weaon Editor file is contained in the Weaons Pack_03Jul06 by Rob 'Bunyap' McCray for all four sims, I've installed that weapons pack into WoI. Is this the same file you sent me the link to earlier?

I just downloaded and installed the F/A-18F add-on A/C from Erwin_Hans, the install was fine, but I do not have any external tanks. I copied and pasted the "weapondata ini.txt" file to the weapondata.ini file and numbered it accordingly. I went to loadout screen within the game and did not see a listing for the centerline or wing external tanks. Do the files need to go into a different location?

Having trouble trying to play BS 1983 campaign, I reinstalled a 'clean' version of SFP1 and then installed BS 1983, that's when I get the error message saying the game has encountered a problem and needs to close. I have the following service packs; SFP1 sp05.15.06 // SFP1 sp05.25.06 // SFP1 sp07.10.06 and SFP1 sp08.30.06, but they are not installed. The campaign was posted by vinman72564 on 5 June '06, if anyone knows him or if he still visits the site his input would be very helpful as this is becoming increasingly frustrating. I'm not sure if I need current patches or updates to make this work. Hotrodss

Hello all, I'm having a lot of problems getting this add-on campaign to work. So far I've just reinstalled SFP1 on my computer, without adding the service pack upgrades from Thirdwire. Next, I extracted the campaign files to the SFP1 directory as instructed in the readme file. I click on the SFP1 icon to run the game and I get the error messsage "SFP1 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" and it's followed by the "Send Error Report/Don't Send" I don't know what else to do? Any assistence is greatly appreciated. I also have the Burning Sands upgrade patch and the Burning Sands service pack 4 update, but i'm holding off till I can get the main add-on working. Shawn aka Hotrodss

The 102nd is being or will be deactivated and I think Otis will close.
