  1. Zell Miller's speech last night at the RNC

yeah that Man definetly said Everything that Needed be said,in direct blunt language(kind of like young George speaks huh)..the last time our Troopers were under un command we got a lot of kids killed due to lack of equipment(that WAS available but considered too belicose!)....the issues are rather blunt this time around aren't they..do we fight them over there or do we wait and react to their next attack, which surely as god made little green apples IS coming..Id much rather hear opps wrong target, rather than damm where did they get that nuke!!?? Id much rather have the french 'upset' than a mall here getting wasted by a suicidal MASS MURDERER..Im going to hear 'what about the economy'? well what about it? its not in that bad a shape as they claim, and I think most of us would rather have a few cents less and the french upset and be able to spend the money in that mall that will not get zapped because the french are upset and we took the fight to the Mass Murderers back lot...No I dont drink from the kool-aid,Id vote for a damm democrat IF the person had INTERNAL fortitude,Stood Up for a belief(other than say 'im a war hero vote for me') and would make DEFENDING this country the Main Issue,of course not just saying they will, but How and where they would do it,and it dont include asking permmision form anyone outside of the country...

(The biggest reason it is such a big issue is because Kerry is running on being a war hero, Bush never brought up the war as he is not running on his National Guard Service, he isn't touting to be a war hero) Bingo!!!!!! give the man a doll!..bush is running on having prevented repeat attacks(to a point of course,we all know we have be right 100% and the REAL baby killers have be lucky Once),on having said the people that did this WILL hear from ALL of us soon, and they did.... (The thing that I think is funny is If I had those kind of service credentials I would be proud and would have released all my records to stand the scrutiny that he should have known would come his way utilizing this kind of service for running for office) Actually the guy was COUNTING on the press NOT to pursue the issue, they did not,not even now are they taking a close look, not like they attacked bush some months back on his ng serrvice, remember that dog and pony show?.... (Kerry did a great disservice when he returned from Viet Nam and started in his anti-war protests, the vietnamese were using his own words against his fellow soldiers in POW camps. ) People DIED because of him and his running mates..that is a rather real truth (Not to say attrocities didn't happen, as such war is an attrocity, but to say that they (the soldiers who fought in that particular war) are all war criminals and they happened with the frequency that he says it did. My father served in VietNam 3 tours worth as such and I see what Kerry did as a slap in my fathers and all the rest of the soldiers faces.) Attrocities yes they DO happen in war, specially with a faceless enemy.yes at times it was very neccesary to do a few things that I will NOT mention here(your Dad knows what Im saying) in order to save our lives or prevent others from dying, again, such IS war..Tell your Dad that this Viet Vet says 'Welcome Home Brother', I think he will know what I meant..no we were NOT all baby killers, nor did we all razed villages..nor did we all kill a 14 yr old kid by shotting him in the back and get a flipping medal for it..that guy gave up ALL right to be respected AS a vet by his TREACHERY and his INSULTS,by his Aiding the Enemy..gee this was long winded, sorry buddy
  3. Background new President

Dutchy,I think you asked a few rather important questions..I will give it a shot at replying them if its ok.. one issue..well its a bit more than that but I can see where folks might see that,it became important when one guy wrapped himself and his party on serving 4 months in nam,no plans about how to solve this or that, just 'vote for me im a vietnam vet and im a hero'..that did peeved off a lot of folks..clinton organized anti-war protests in england AND was a fully fledged draft dogger who actually DID get his draft notice, the guy now using that he is a vietvet at that time said being in the service was not a requirement to be president, and it is not really..no offense taken bud,I can understand where you(as well as Many Americans) have gotten confused on this....one has 4 months of 'combat' the other has had terrorists looking over THEIR shoulder for 3 yrs...simple math I think..hope this helped buddy...
  4. Background new President

  7. Breakin News from Iraq

here's a commercial break for a credit card that will remain nameless.. A True Story from Afghanistan So we are up in the mountains at about 0100 hrs looking for a bad guy that we thought was in the area. Here are ten of us, pitch black, crystal clear night, about 25 degrees. We know there are bad guys in the area, a few shots have been fired but no big deal. We decide that we need air cover and the only thing in the area is a solo B-1 bomber. He flies around at about 20,000 feet and tells us there is nothing in the area. He then asks if we would like a low level show of force. Stupid question. Of course we tell him yes. The controller who is attached to the team then is heard talking to the pilot. Pilot asks if we want it subsonic or supersonic. Very stupid question. Pilot advises he is twenty miles out and stand by. The controller gets us all sitting down in a line and points out the proper location. You have to picture this. Pitch black, ten killers sitting down, dead quiet and overlooking this about 30 mile long valley. All of a sudden, way out (below our level) you see a set of four 200' white flames coming at us. The controller says, "Ah-- guys-- you might want to plug your ears". Faster than you can think a B-1, supersonic, 1000' over our heads, blasts the sound barrier and it feels like God just hit you in the head with a hammer". He then stands it straight up with 4 white trails of flame coming out and disappears. Cost of gas for that: Probably $50,000 Hearing damage: For certain Bunch of ragheads thinking twice about shooting at us: Priceless.

  10. Ollie North weighs in on Kerry

Very informative, except I had to reply on one thing....when hanoi jane said those things a Viet Vet put it rather well and bluntly..he said/asked 'how many oscars has jane been put up for'?.......
  11. Ollie North weighs in on Kerry

Memory Lapse? Time for REALITY Checks..MR BUSH Had done what MANY others had done,he joined the national guard, just in case you are not aware of this,MANY units of the guard DID serve in vietnam(actually one of the most decorated units for combat WAS a National Guard unit),just a reminder..where was what I sense is a fav of yours billy clinton?...This is NOT about george bush,he has NEVER ran on his military service, period ..the dems to INCLUDE john kerry said 12/14 yrs back that military service was NOT a requirement to being President(and its NOT) what changed since then?..kerry has MADE his service the center piece of his campaign,so therefore it IS open to scrutiny, and last but not least,he DIRECTLY by his words and acts caused HARM to be brought upon Americans,in other times that WAS aid and comfort among other things...before Anything else is said..Im a TWO tour Nam Vet,was there 1969/70 and 71/72..again,George Bush NEVER made his service a campaign thing,Before you mention the awol thinggy,it is NOT uncommon in the guard to take leaves of absences, the only requirement is that time has to be made up afterwards,Mr Bush DID that,so much for the 'awol' thing..
  12. Pro Bush Protesters at the Convention

I take it there were no deficits BEFORE George Bush? ever?..as for war,I believe it is better to keep them worried were we going to go next than having them fly more of our own airplanes(OR MUCH MUCH worse) into our own buildings..tax wise,Im a firm believer in a flat tax, period, everyone pay same percentage(no loopholes etc)....I think you might mention that we not doing anything bout korea or iran..north korea wont do anything stupid, they dont want to become a province of china or a south korean suburb...as for iran, they looking real close at what IS happening, there are American Troopers on two sides of that country, the israeli airfoce problly has a plan to bomb the iranian nukes...terrorists(like 'guerillas;) don't like having to look over their shoulders..it IS your Right to vote for Whoever you want(many folks have and ARE dying to protect that Right and freedom),that will NOT ever be argued(unless you in florida and too dense to punch thru or read the whole instructions)..just remember that this country IS at war,has BEEN for many years, just that it was decided to fight back.....but yes NO one will ever say you cant vote as you wish it
  13. Medal of Honor recipients support Bush.

  17. Medal of Honor recipients support Bush.

Very interesting reading..if that guy wants to go by his record IN congress I do think he would be as helpless as a one legged man at a ass kicking contest..wonder what the dems/libs will say bout those 21 Brave,COURAGEOUS MEN,lets see, they were not in the flipping boat with the guy, they work for george, they are LYING,their stories cant be confirmed, they have a hidden agenda...did I leave anything out? oh yeah they CAN"T use THEIR freedom of speech(and if ANYONE EARNED and PAID for that right it IS THIS group) because they were not there......and we are to FORGET the speeches the guy made, the 19+ yrs in congress(and the record there)...

  24. Normandy 2004

How Would the D-Day Invasion be Reported today? (This is what you would hear if today's media reported on D-Day at Normandy) June 6, 1944. -NORMANDY- Three hundred French civilians were killed and thousands more wounded today in the first hours of America's invasion of continental Europe. Casualties were heaviest among women and children. Most of the French casualties were the result of artillery fire from American ships attempting to knock out German fortifications prior to the landing of hundreds of thousands of U.S. troops. Reports from a makeshift hospital in the French town of St. Mere Eglise said the carnage was far worse than the French had anticipated and reaction against the American invasion was running high. "We are dying for no reason," said a Frenchman speaking on condition of anonymity. "Americans can't even shoot straight. I never thought I'd say this, but life was better under Adolph Hitler." The invasion also caused severe environmental damage. American troops, tanks, trucks and machinery destroyed miles of pristine shoreline and thousands of acres of ecologically sensitive wetlands. It was believed that the habitat of the spineless French crab was completely wiped out, threatening the species with extinction. A representative of Greenpeace said his organization, which had tried to stall the invasion for over a year, was appalled at the destruction, but not surprised. "This is just another example of how the military destroys the environment without a second thought," said Christine Moanmore. "And it's all about corporate greed." Contacted at his Manhattan condo, a member of the French government-in-exile who abandoned Paris when Hitler invaded said the invasion was based solely on American financial interests. "Everyone knows that President Roosevelt has ties to big beer," said Pierre LeWimp. "Once the German beer industry is conquered, Roosevelt's beer cronies will control the world market and make a fortune." Administration supporters said America's aggressive actions were based in part on the assertions of controversial scientist Albert Einstein, who sent a letter to Roosevelt speculating that the Germans were developing a secret weapon, a so-called "atomic bomb." Such a weapon could produce casualties on a scale never seen before and cause environmental damage that could last for thousands of years. Hitler has denied having such a weapon and international inspectors were unable to locate such weapons even after spending two long weekends in Germany. Shortly after the invasion began reports surfaced that German prisoners had been abused by Americans. Mistreatment of Jews by Germans at so-called "concentration camps" has been rumored but so far, remains unproven. Several thousand Americans died during the first hours of the invasion and French officials are concerned that uncollected corpses pose a public health risk. "The Americans should have planned for this in advance," they said. "It's their mess and we don't intend to clean it up." Something to ponder about..............
  25. common sense,lack of

An Obituary Today we mourn the passing of an old friend, by the name of Common Sense. Common Sense lived a long life but died in the United States from heart failure on the brink of the new millennium. No one really knows how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He selflessly devoted his life to service in schools, hospitals, homes, factories helping folks get jobs done without fanfare and foolishness. For decades, petty rules, silly laws, and frivolous lawsuits held no power over Common Sense. He was credited with cultivating such valued lessons as to know when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, and that life isn't always fair. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn), reliable parenting strategies (the adults are in charge, not the kids), and it's okay to come in second. A veteran of the Industrial Revolution, The Great Depression, and the Technological Revolution, Common Sense survived cultural and educational trends including body piercing, whole language, and "new math." But his health declined when he became infected with the "If-it-only-helps-one-person-it's-worth-it" virus. In recent decades his waning strength proved no match for the ravages of well intentioned but overbearing regulations. He watched in pain as good people became ruled by self-seeking lawyers. His health rapidly deteriorated when schools endlessly implemented zero-tolerance policies. Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate, a teen suspended for taking a swig of mouthwash after lunch, and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student only worsened his condition. It declined even further when schools had to get parental consent to administer aspirin to a student but could not inform the parent when a female student was pregnant or wanted an abortion. Finally, Common Sense lost his will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband, churches became businesses, criminals received better treatment than victims, and federal judges stuck their noses in everything from the Boy Scouts to professional sports. Finally, when a woman, too stupid to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot, was awarded a huge settlement, common sense threw in the towel. As the end neared, Common Sense drifted in and out of logic but was kept informed of developments regarding questionable regulations such as those for low flow toilets, rocking chairs, and stepladders. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by two stepbrothers: My Rights, and Ima Whiner. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.
