Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Sea Harrier FRS.1 For Falklands 1982 All-inclusive mod This is a set of two skins for the Sea Harrier FRS.1 model available through the Falklands 1982 All-inclusive mod, original by Kesselbrut. Original skins have been heavily tweaked and upgraded for a - hopefully - more realistic look, with new decals, details and weathering effects. This pack includes skins both for 800 and 801 Naval Air Squadrons Sea Harriers, as well as a reworked and enhanced skin for the 100-gallon external fuel tanks. Falklands War-era Weapons Mini-Pack This is a small collection of skins for weapons used in the 1982 South Atlantic conflict by both British and Argentine forces. They are made with the Falklands All-Inclusive Mod by Kesselbrut in mind but, should you wish to do so, you can use them in any mod you like. I have chosen to include new LOD files available via the SF/WO* Community Weapons Pack since some skins are purposely designed for them and will not work with stock FLK Mod ones. However, I encourage you to download the Weapons Pack as it contains literally tonnes of new weapons ready for use. You'll get two skins and LOD files for different AIM-9 Sidewinder missile ("G" and "L") models. The Sidewinder "Lima" model was the latest and newest in short-range heat-seeking missiles in the Falklands War and is responsible for downing over 20 Argentine aircraft in air-to-air combat. It's meant to be available for the RAF Harrier GR.3 and RN Sea Harrier FRS.1. The GBU-123/B (LOD and skin included) is a 1000lb British Mk13/18 free-fall bomb fitted with a Paveway II laser guidance kit. It was used, despite a few early miss drops given crew's unfamiliarity with the system, with great success by RAF Harrier GR.3 aicraft having targets designated for them by ground forces. Argentine weapons included are the French-built Matra R550 Magic I AAM. Aircraft that should be able to carry it are the Argentine Air Force Mirage MIIIEA and Navy - Comando Aéreo Naval - Super Étendard... and last but not least, perhaps what was known as the most fearsome weapon in the combat theatre of operations: the Aèrospatiale AM39 Exocet air-to-surface missile, a weapon that caused severe losses to the Royal Navy Task Force by taking out HMS Sheffield, a Type 42 destroyer, and Atlantic Conveyor, which carried vital supplies for the British forces attempting to re-take the islands. This is the primary anti-surface weapon for the Super Étendard. Operation 'Corporate' Sea Harrier FRS.1 Improvement Pack This is my effort in order to improve the Royal Navy Sea Harrier FRS.1, primarily (but not necessarily) for its use with the Falklands Mod by Kesselbrut; hopefully it will make the aircraft more fun and enjoyable to fly. I have included features by other modders and community developers in order to enhance the Sea Harrier experience; credits are given to their respective creators and original ‘Readme’ files are included. FEATURES 1- Ten high-resolution skins, seven of which are historically accurate for three Fleet Air Arm Naval Air Squadrons, with custom decals, particular features and even kill marks. 2- New custom pilot skin featuring accurate British kit, including Mk.36 helmet and Type P.2A oxygen mask. 3- Revised and more realistic flight model. 4- Tweaked radar performance, radar modes and displays for a more realistic feel 5- Improved sound and visual effects 5- Fly with the pros! Historical pilot names .LST file and real Falklands War veteran Harrier and Sea Harrier pilot photos.
