Gentles, I have what I believe is a setup anomaly to do with flying through cloud. From inside the cockpit; Notice the non clouded bars at each side. External view; Edge to edge cloud. What setting must I address to have the virtual cockpit "clouded " from edge to edge?? Thanks for any assist.

Siggi, I'm running wide screen(1680 X 1050) on a Samsung 2232BW through an NVidia GeForce 8800GTX with 768 Mb of GDDR3. I concur that this is NOT a show stopper, it's just that I tend to crack my neck trying to see around the edges. I guess the fix is to avoid clouds. Weird s**t happens in cloud at any rate so it's for the best. Thanks.

Turn on TrackIR first, then start the sim/game. Not being condescending, just acknowledging that it's the little things that cock us up.

I occasionally have the same spastic TrackIr problem you describe and while all the above are sage comments, I don't thinks anyone suggested pulling out the usb cable, wait to hear the bong,bong disconnect warning through your speakers, wait 10 - 20 seconds and reconnect. Thanks Gentlemen. Oldham, I'm sorry I mixed my wars a little. AAA is the modern term for "Anti Aircraft Artillery" I was aware that FlaK was a contraction, hence the capitalization of the K. The search continues!

Mine are easy. All German, all dad's fore fathers. All Kaiser, my last name. Gottlieb, Johann, Karl, Traugott, Thedore, and of course Dad's name re-Germanisized,..Georg Friedrich. Leutnant Georg Friedrich Kaiser is having a ball with Jasta 11,....I don't know that Dad would get it.

Gentles, I find the iron sight, and attendant cycling of "stations" to be very annoying, to the point where I am now using the force to aim. I can not find a view in the key files called "New Station-Iron Sight", nor "New Station- Fuel Gauge"(which shows the compass), but "New Station-Pilot View" is a selection as "go to pilotseat". Cycling F4 as IvanK says is not the most efficient method, but until the location of the Station view switch is identified we are stuck with it I guess, unless the developers can assist. I have the cycling method working in the Albatross DIII, but the DRI refuses to show the Iron sight view even though it is proclaimed on the top of screen. Would a look in the view.xml files offer a solution?? Salute, Polovski, Winder and all the OFF/OBD team for the most immersive sim I've clapped eyes on for a very long time.

Gentles, I am new to OFF BHaH and I am feeling my way, net result is that my pilots pay for my learning curve. I would like to be able to resurrect my fallen for convenience sake. In the old forum, I think Siggi outlined how this was possible as a text edit. I have scoured the old forum looking for that post, to no avail. Any Combat Ace admin, please how do I keep my account but change my User name? On SOH I was IV/JG1_Kaiser, here because of an old handle being linked to my email address I'm stuck with Bussard_1. Any advice welcome.
