  1. I wrote an article at the knowledge base on on how to create such camera angles.
  2. A short vid I made to display the loadout of an F-16C in the campaign I am developping: blog url: http://kingalbertstories.blogspot.com/2008...-update-10.html Youtube url: I hope you enjoy it. KingAlbert
  3. Many thanks to every body for their feedback. I finalized the loadout for the F-16C in the campaign. You can check the final loadout on my blog where I posted a little movie of the aircraft and its loadouts. Keep checking this forum because I have other aircraft and loadouts for which I need your help. Happy Flying, KingAlbert
  4. In what sense (my english is not always good enough to get the subtelties ) Is it unrealistic? I use those loadouts so that the AI can handle them (I witnessed the AI dropping 6 gbu-12 in a single line on a single target) Too everybody already thx for your feedback
  5. for those interested, I am working on a post-1979 scenario (a 1990 scenario to be precise). Unfortunetaly I am working on my own so its a long process. You can read more about it here.
  6. File Name: LAU-88 for AGM-65D File Submitter: KingAlbert File Submitted: 7 Jul 2008 File Category: SF/WO*/FE Weapons Mods/Skins The LAU-88 Rack is used on the F-16 to attach a load of Maverick AGM-65's to the wings. In theory the LAU-88 can carry up to 3 missiles yet most F-16's never carry more then 2 missiles per LAU-88, especially with the AGM-65D. AFAIK this either done for weight reasons (the wing attachment points can't carry the weight of 3 AGM-65D), for G-limitations or either because the inward missile would get in the way of inner wing attachments. In SF/WOV/WOE/WOI the sim itself simulates this perfectly, yet when the player uses a custom loadout from the aircraft_loadout.ini, the mavericks are placed on both outside attachments of the LAU-88. I modified the existing LAU-88 by removing the inner attachment-point and keeping the outer and bottom attachment. The only prerequisite is that you have the original LAU-88A object. 8. thanks for the feedback That's exactly the kind of response I expect and need. I know something about aircraft, but I lack the day to day useage knowledge. With this kind of feedback I can edit the campaign to reflect reality as much as possible. Any suggestion is more then welcome
  9. Just finished adding soviet Air forces operating in East Germany. You can read more on my blog. If you don't like reading here are some action shots I took during testing. AA gunner overwatching the results of his work F-15 heading for a fight MIG parts scattered all over the sky Happy flying
  10. for the last couple of weeks I have been busy developping my first WOE campaign: Berlin Crisis (or WOE:BC). I am far from finished but after finally adding all the flyable aircraft, it's time to show the first (non-action) screenshots. I also keep track of my progress on my blog (introduction, update 1, update 2, update 3, update 4, update 5, update 6) Below are the images I use as loading screens. It ain't action pics, since I am still busy adding soviet fighters to the campaign.
  11. No ETA yet, a quick glance of the still to do's= Add Mig-27 Add Su-22 Add Su-17 Add other warsaw pact aircraft Add additional ground objects ... As red aircraft, the Su-22 and Su-17 are replacements untill the Su-24 and Su-25 are available. Soviet helicopters are tempting, but I'll have to run some tests to see how the campaign uses them. Naval aircraft (F-14, A-6, F-18) are not included, unless there is demand for them. I use some Orders of Battle for NATO and Warsawpakt that I found here. The goal is to include all squadrons that would fly over Europe. I aim also to have a realistic what-if scenario (what if the Berlin Wall did not fell peacefully). for the distribution method, I have several options: one click install readme in txt-format extended instruction on dedicated blog I am seriously contemplating a form of blog, since I could write it simultaneously as an extended tutorial on how to build your own campaign. But i'll decide on that when I finished building the campaign.
  12. When I try to access the downloads for aircraft (ie Mig-29, F-16) I get the message "You do not have access to this section of the site." Does anyone else has the same error?
  13. it seems that following aircraft downloads no longer work: F-16 F-18 Mig-29 F-14 I already sent a mail to the admins. Hopefully they can quickle solve this, because I really need that Mig-29

File Name: A-7E Hangar and Loading Screen Pack File Submitter: KingAlbert File Submitted: 5 Jun 2008 File Category: Hanger/Menu/Loadout Here is another HL pack this time for the A-7E Corsair II. The ultimate goal is to use these packs in the campaign I am developping, therefor you will also require this skin: Hellenic Corsair. Installation is easy: 1/ download the addon aircraft 2/ download the extra skin 3/ extract the files of this pack to the aircraft folder (overwritting the A-7E.ini, necessary to allow swapping between hangar and loading screens) For further details and explenation of this technique of using multiple screens can be found in the enclosed readme. 20. File Name: Mirage F-1C Hangar and Loading Screen Pack File Submitter: KingAlbert File Submitted: 2 Jun 2008 File Category: Hanger/Menu/Loadout Here is another Hangar and loading screen pack. This time its base on the Mirage Factory Mirage F.1C Addon v1.5. I am working on a campaign, using these screen packs since its much easier for users to download and install the screen pack instead of having to meddle around in the files themselves. Again installation is quite easy, provided you have already installed the Mirage Factory aircraft. Simply drop the screens and adapted aircraft ini file in the aircraft folder (...\Objects\Aircraft\F-1C\) and you're ready to go. I set the default loading and hangar screen to the French Air Force, but those of you who prever flying with the Spanish or Greek air force can select their screens instead, just read the readme on how to switch between screen. 22. File Name: AV-8B Harrier II Plus Hangar and Loading Screen Pack File Submitter: KingAlbert File Submitted: 2 Jun 2008 File Category: Hanger/Menu/Loadout Bobrock has made an excellent AV-8B Harrier II Plus. With his kind permission I created this Hangar and Loading Screen Pack, using the textureset method I developped. If you wish you can now display a loading screen for each of the skins he provided with the aircraft or use the default screens he created. As usual the pack is quite simple to install as long as you already have installed Bobrock's plane. Simply unpack the different screens in the pack and drop them in the AV-8Bplus folder alongside the edited aircraft ini file. I have set the US marines skin as default for the hangar and loading screen. For more detailled instructions on the textureset technique, see the enclosed readme. Click here to download this file
