  1. New & Improved File Area is now Online!

After a long couple of days, I've cleaned up the file area and verified that all files links are working. Any file entries I didn't have the files locally on Biohaz, a good remote link for, or could not track down have been deleted. Unfortunately, I could not track some of the missing files down, so if you notice any skin or addon we don't have in the library, please upload them! At this point, please report any broken links via the "Broken Link" link item on the file's page. Now I just have to figure out why I have over 300 Mb of files on the server that I don't have entries for in the file library...
  2. Looks good, I already approved them and they are ready for download.
  3. BIG NEWS!!!

All three product patches are up now, get 'em while they're hot...
  4. If you are talking about the first page of posts, the first few images with all the pics are broken. Later posts in the thread, such as the cockpit shots, I see just fine. This happens when someone posts links to images on another server, and those pics get removed or are no longer available.
  5. I noticed the same thing last night. The good news is most (if not all) of the broken links should be resolved tonight, I have transferred all our files to this central server and will edit the DB to point to the new locations this evening. This will speed up the downloads as well as make it a hell of a lot easier to manage. In the meantime, please, keep reporting those broken links via the link on the file's page. Some of these links are actually offsite to other servers outside my control, those I need to know about.
  6. BIG NEWS!!!

Patch is mirrored in the Biohaz File Library as well.
  7. Buddy's gone...

I'm so sorry for your loss PC.
  8. IM NEW

    Not that I'm aware of.
  9. That's a forum setting that must have gotten changed, I'm doing a forum audit right now for permissions/settings, it should show up in the next day or so. Thanks, we're working on it. My project now (after I get the files finished) is to get the forum colors/graphics in line with the main site, so it's got a more "unified" look. After that I'll do a light-color theme as well, that way people can select which they prefer. I'll see what I can do. Since this is a completely new script, I'll have to see if I can hack that functionality in, but it's going to be a few weeks down the road before I get to that request.
  10. I'm still working on converting the existing file owners, at least as many as I can. I changed yours (found 2 files), try it now and see if it works.
  11. IM NEW

As Cobra stated, players cannot taxi out of the hangers, you start on the apron. Computer-controlled aircraft can taxi from the hangers however.
  12. I'll see what I can do about the weekly/monthly stats. Should be easy enough to code. I'm still wading through the links to see what we are missing. Unfortunately a lot of the missing links are files that people linked to a remote location, so we'll have to scrounge around and see if we can find a copy and upload it locally. I'm not sure what you mean by the forum edit only working for a few minutes, can you clarify that one for me? Thanks for the kind words. Next up, working on these damn forum colors to match the main site.
  13. It looks like the images are no longer available at the location the poster linked to.
  14. Try it now bud. Apparentely I missed the Moderator group when I was assigning permissions to the download area. So members could DL, but not Mods. DOH!
  15. We have them online here as well, did you check the file area? A list of LOMAC object Mods sorted by author Just scan down, you will see all the mods from BoboCop.
  16. 2 difficult

I always like to hear constructive feedback, but I'm not quite sure where you are coming from in this case. First off, why do you have to click 10 times? Say I want an A-10 for LOMAC. I click the download link, then on the left menu has a breakdown of every category in the file area. I click the A-10 Skins subcatagory, that's two. I find the skin I want and click the link to look at the file (third click), then I download it. That's a total of four. The only way I can see it being any less clicks is a flat-file system, and then you would have to wade through a list of over 500 files to find what I want. So, what better system did you have in mind? As for re-register, again not sure what you mean. If you mean you have to register for the forums to have the ability to download, then I'll explain it this way. I have about a gig of mods for LOMAC and Project-1, and I pay for the storage and bandwidth from my own pocket. I feel it's a small thing for me to ask that in exchange for offering all those files, that people will in exchange come and participate in the Biohaz community.
  17. Thank God I'm not the only one having this issue, it's like the damn tires are filled with helium or something...
  18. A quick note from Navy Chief.

NC, been thinking about you and hoping all was well. We'll be waiting for you when you return.
  19. Ok folks, we are going to start doing some giveaways over the next few months so we can give something back to all of you that visit regularly. And best of all, it's easy to enter, even for you guys... tomato.gif So, how does this work? It's easy. I'll create a Lottery Thread in one of the forums. All you have to do is post once (and only once) in the thread. The first 53 members to post after me in that thread get a number. The next post after mine gets gets No.1, the following post gets No. 2 and so on up to 53. Once 53 members have posted, the next Powerball Lottery drawing after all the slots have filled will decide the winner based on the number of the Powerball. If this matches your post number you win the prize. I will number all posts so you know for sure what your number is. So, to kick off our first official giveaway, we have one brand spankin' new Nic Cole LOMAC Enhanced Manual! This is from the last run, so get it while you still can. You will find the thread in the LOMAC General Discussion forum here. Spread the word in all the forums you frequent, and good luck to all! victory.gif UPDATE: Apparently i had a brainfart last night as any number multiplied by 2 is an even number, wacko.gif so i've changed the lottery to only 53 with no multiplier.
  20. New Site Layout in progress

As you have probably already noticed, the site layout made a step in the right direction yesterday, with the first phase in progress now. I still have much to do and there are more graphic and color changes in store over the coming few weeks. So for the time being we are "Under Construction". The goal for me is to get a lot more focus on our content, not only the news but our Reviews/Previews, something you will see a lot more of over the coming weeks and months. I want the front page to give you a clear concise picture of what's new at Biohaz, but not get too cluttered or busy. It's a fine line to walk, but we hope we'll get it right. And yes, the forum colors/layout will be changed to match the site once we get it nailed down. I know a lot of you are not fans of the current colors... If you have any comments or suggestions, feel free to post in this thread or send me a PM. While there's no way we can make everyone happy, I'll be happy to hear any comments on the redesign you might have.
  21. Welcome! Thank you for the kind words, they are always appreciated.
  22. I'm working on returning the latest threads module back on the main page, but it's going to be another week or so before it happens. The customized script I used to run to do that was not updated to run with the new InvisionBoard 2.0, so I'm going to have to do something on my own to make it work.
  23. download problem

The File Area is back in action for the time being. I still need to work on a long-term solution for storage, we are already sitting on close to 1Gb of LOMAC and Strike Fighters files. Anybody want to help chip in for a year of file hosting for us? I need about 80-100 bucks to get a decent-sized storage/bandwidth solution. Paypal donations are always welcome...
  24. Geeks and movie buffs rejoice, for the Official Lord of the Rings website has the Return of the King: Extended Edition trailer up in Quicktime for you to view. There's a small version (4MB) and a larger version weighing in at 9MB. Lot's of great new footage!
