Sorry PC, I replied on this on another thread. I'm currently reupping all the files to our web server as the old file server is no longer available. I got the files uploaded last night, and tonight when I get home I'll do the database changes. With luck, the downloads will be working again tonight.

Anyone got it yet?
MadJeff replied to PG_Raptor's topic in IL-2 Series / Pacific Fighters / Cliffs of Dover: General Discussion
As soon as I get my copy I'll be doing in in-depth review for Biohaz, so hopefully in the next two weeks we'll get it posted. -
I would be the first to chip in the money... Being a Helosim junkie, I can't imagine a best flight sims list WITHOUT helos, especially when you look back at some of the best sims (period) include titles like Longbow 2 and EECH IMHO...

Where have all the Cloud mods gone?
MadJeff replied to bflagg's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
I'm working on the downloads today, hopefully all will be online in the next 8 hours. I'm home with the flu today, so I have some time to work on it... -
This is an excellent idea. Give me a day or two to get something together.

Beautiful job Wanks! We need to make that into a November calendar!

LOMAC Manual Lottery Thread

The third ball drawn was #5, and the winner is: Dagger! Congrats, and thank you all for playing. We'll have another giveaway in a few weeks, so be sure to check in for details. -
LOMAC Manual Lottery Thread
MadJeff replied to MadJeff's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
And that's a wrap folks. I'll lock the thread and I'll announce the winner in a few hours. Good luck to all! Damn, I just realized I screwed this up again. You can tell I never play Powerball. There are 53 balls in the powerball drawing, but there are only 42 balls in the powerball drum. Since I said I would take 53 players, this is what I'll do. I'll be watching the live drawing tonight and the number on the 3rd ball drawn will be the winner of the LOMAC manual. Sorry for the mixup people, but at least I figured it out BEFORE the drawing. -
Let's start the weekend off with a bang! We have the first in a series of exclusive Dangerous Waters screenshots to get you ready for our upcoming Dangerous Waters preview. This first series of six shots shows some naval and air units in action. You can see all the full-size screenshots in the Dangerous Waters Image Gallery,

Future ones will probably have a 10-post entry, but I just wanted to do one of these to try it out and see how it went, as well as hopefully attract some new users, as things got pretty quiet over the summer. That'll change, we have some great new articles and giveaways in the works right now. -
Charlie, thanks for the heads-up, I'll get this posted on the frontpage ASAP. BTW, you beat me to the punch, as I'm planning a Biohaz review on the product as well...

Ok folks, we are going to start doing some giveaways over the next few months so we can give something back to all of you that visit regularly. And best of all, it's easy to enter, even for you guys... So, how does this work? It's easy. I'll create a Lottery Thread in one of the forums. All you have to do is post once (and only once) in the thread. The first 53 members to post after me in that thread get a number. The next post after mine gets gets No.1, the following post gets No. 2 and so on up to 53. Once 53 members have posted, the next Powerball Lottery drawing after all the slots have filled will decide the winner based on the number of the Powerball. If this matches your post number you win the prize. I will number all posts so you know for sure what your number is. So, to kick off our first official giveaway, we have one brand spankin' new Nic Cole LOMAC Enhanced Manual! This is from the last run, so get it while you still can. You will find the thread in the LOMAC General Discussion forum here. Spread the word in all the forums you frequent, and good luck to all! UPDATE: Apparently i had a brainfart last night as any number multiplied by 2 is an even number, so i've changed the lottery to only 53 with no multiplier.

You guys do realize this is NOT the thread, right?

Saw that one tonight. I'll try and get it resolved by tomorrow . -
I'm glad you guys like the upgrade. So, it's probably not a good time to mention that I'm currently considering a switch from InvisionBoard to vBulletin. Things have got pretty bad in the IVB community the past week or two. Previously, IVB has always had an unlimited free trial for their software. Unfortunately, things have suddenly changed, they pulled the 2.0 files, and it is now a pay-only forum. That in and of itself is not bad, but they horrible way they changed things, along with a lot of other political wrangling at the company forums, IVB has managed to piss of pretty much all the modding and skinning community to the point they are all leaving in droves to vBulletin3. Of course, I payed for a year license just before all this happened. I had considered vBulletin before the switch, but at the time felt it wasn't worth switching. But in light of recent events, I'm SERIOUSLY considering the option now. vB has a converter from IVB 2.0 to the latest vBulletin, so we would lose nothing. What we would gain is a very vibrant dev/mod community in vBulletin, as well as a way to integrate the forum to the website (There's a bridge to enable single signon). I'm currently weighing the options and will post as I have more info. Sorry for all the changes guys, but I think you will like what we end up with.

I have time today and the traffic seems to be light, so I'm currently uploading the scripts and updating the main website. Expect some downtime over the next hour while I get things reconfigured. I'll keep everyone posted as I progress. :moil:
