I saw Bill Clinton speak at Allen Field House at KU today as the first in a series of lectures hosted by Bob Dole who also spoke and was just as good. It was actually a lecture on foreign policy as part of the Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics lecture series. And with 12,000 people in attendence and it being 90 degrees outside, it was really hot in a place that's hot when it's 10 degrees during basketball season! And whether you like Bill Clinton or not it was still very cool to see an former president speak, becuase AFAIC no matter how much you don't like some one you still have to respect the office that he represents.

Great post T-Bone. Personaly, no matter who is in office, whether or not I liked him, if I was asked by that president to go serve for for my country I would, simply becuase I feel it's my moral obligation as a citizen. I did figure I get flamed for this thread though ;)

Being my favorite musical group I'm rather stoked they decided to end the hiatus (again) and start making albums again. The first original album since Hello Nastie btw. I highly recomend going over to their site and checking out the new video, you won't be dissapointed.

Great Idea, might be a little tough to implement though.

I went to gametrailers.com to drool on my keyboard, so far I've see the trailers for Halo 2 Multiplayer, (which so awesome when the guy annoucing calls the Covenant energy sword "the worlds greatest anti-sonuvab*tch stick), StarFox 2, The Legend of Zelda, Area 51, and Brothers in Arms (which looks great btw), more and more and more and more please!

<S> To some one who grabbed a .50 thinking more about covering his buddies than himself, a selfless act of heroism that should be comended.

I'm the worlds biggest GWB fan, but that game is freaking sweet! M4's :D and I love Condeleeza Rice with the dual Uzi's :P

My friend just fell into two free tickets to see Peter Frampton and Styxx tonight, so that's pretty rad. I'm gonna see Frampton make his guitar talk. Not much of classic rock guy, but still, it's gonna rock, roll, and remember.

You all should've seen "Flying Shark vs Flying Crocodile" on adultswim. Its had a six week build up ad campaign for a 30 second long clip of sock puppets fighting, in my opinion...a comedic masterwork.

I used to have Licensed to Ill, Check Your Head, Ill Communication, and Hello Nastie, but they all got stolen :( I've only got the Anthology now, but it's freakin rad. I plan on renewing the collection this summer.
