Hi, I noticed my p-51d-30 is missing the 50 caliber sound on the guns when ya fire. same goes with one of the mig-29's. it the russian GSH 30mmm or similar. Question is how do i fix something in this situation. is an ini fix? I only know how to fic the engine sound. Any help apprec. thx.

Hi, folks. I am wondering if there is a fix for animated water to work. I for the longest time had difficulty running all my thirdwire sims andended up getting a new pc just for thirdwire sims and uses vista instead of xp. I noticed the fix in the below thread to stop the desktop crash when you hit escape which was the changing or editing the config file/user shader settings. I changed them to falso, but now the water is not animated . How i get it back or is this still a mystery/wip.? thx.

Hi. i just started revisiting this plane yestrday and admit shes a beauty. Love the engine sound and plane. I noticed it carries the cannon pod under belly but no ordnance. How do i configure it to carry bombs and rockets etc. Also, are there any skins made for it? Thx.

Hi. I am havingmajor probs with all my thirdwire installs. At first I was getting the microsoft error regarding 2 dll files-d3d9.dll and ntl.dll or similar. I dwlded those 2 from a dll site, put them into my windows/system folder and now when i start any of these sims, I clikc on fly and it completely crashes to desktop. ie ven took them out of the folder and same thing. can anyone help me? i followed the combatace forum knowledge base regarding the dll file and now i cant fly any othem. thanks. Ps, I have the latest direct x patches and game patches as well. It was working fine this morning, all idid was chg or play with those dll's. i copied over the d3d9 dll to windows/system 32 and overwrote the one there so i dont know if its that. They were the same size though.

Ciacho. I did that and no go. I tried out my il2-46 install by Maddox games and it works perfectly. Just Third wire installs including unmodded ones. Is there a repair direct x util? It seems it stems from that one file. As for the dl. I did not back into system 32. When i looked at the readme inside the new dll I dwlded, it said to put into system not system 32. is there any other way to fix just that dll? Are there older ones perhaps that would work?

Hi, guys. i just did a system restore to before this dll thing happened and no go. Its still crashing to desktop after clicking on fly. This really sucks and am really frustrated as these are my fav sims i play daily. I am going to try 1 more thing before I have to swicth pc's which I really dont want to do. I am, gonna try cc cleaner and see. Hope for best but I think you guys or moderator shd put a message in databse knowledge about this because I went and followed that missing direct x 9 file dll in first place and it mad everything worse after I applied it.

Hi, So far, i reinstalled my vid card driver and no go there. i did registry cleaner and no go and reinstalled woe and even used the direct x from the cd which did not produce the rror but its outdated direct x. Then I went and reinstalled the april direct x and no go. It just keeps exiting to desktop when click fly no matter wehich plane. Its even patched. Yet Microsoft cfs 2 and 3 run fine. How do you use reged as I know nothing on chging registries. i thought the reg cleaner thru mcaffee would work.

Hi, folks. My game is gettinf or crashing to desktop and I keep getting the error message saying do you want to send to microsoft. I get two types of errors. One says under modname: ntdll.dll and the other is d39d.dll. Does anyone know a cure for this? thx. It especially happens midway while playing. Also, when I tried viewing the hotckiss machine gunner using f8 key, it gave me the d39d.dll error.
