  2. They're doing both, but the B apparently is ahead.
  3. I wouldnt hold my breath about a Typhoon from VEAO. Somehow they've suckered the RAF into a mil contract at the expense of their other customers. Aviodev, same boat. They're both way in over their heads, or ED just lets them deliver excuses instead of fulfilling their commitments. The F-14B appears to be the first out of the gate. Some M/P testing was spotted on the 1.5 server recently. So if I had to guess, we'll see the Harrier and Bombcat this year. The Hornet in 2017 is a huge maybe. The rest, I'd just like to get some proper updates instead of in-fighting and legal delays holding up progress.
  4. F-4N Phantom II for SF2

    Version

F-4N Phantom II for Strike Fighters 2 series. 23 Oct 2010 This is a continued update of the original F-4N Phantom II released by Column5 and Dave (ex-USAFMTL) way back in 2003. Thanks gents. Additional thanks goes to Wrench. He released an update pack for this jet, in Jan '09. That got the ball rolling for this latest version. Thank you Sundowner for your awesome skins and Spillone for the excellent J79 sounds. I went through the data, avionics and cockpit.ini files and upgraded the F-4B_67 to N standards in a similiar fashion as Project Bee Line (see below). Additionally, the loadout.ini was tweaked to properly match a USN configuration. In 1972, 228 F-4Bs were converted into F-4Ns to bring the B-model up to a similiar to the F-4J and increase their combat capabilty. This project was named "Bee Line". Work was conducted at Naval Air Station North Island. The aircraft received slatted stabs, a new ECM suite (AN/ALQ-126B) plus avionics systems upgrades. The N-model entered fleet use in 1973 and remained in service with the Navy and Marine Corps until 1985. A handful remained post-1985, with the Reserves and test units. Those were eventually converted into QF-4Ns drones. To install simply allow the extractor to place everything in the main SF2 folder. I've added the VF-111 pilots from Wrench, two of Sundowners skins (slightly edited for the N) and new J79 engine sound files from Spillone. Last time I checked, all had ok'd the use of their work for non-profit use. If I'm wrong, please contact me and I'll eliminate the files. The canopy open/close is linked to the "0" key. -ST0RM
  5. Add some curves to your rudder and it helps with the over steer during NWS operation.
  6. Whats rough about it? Its one of the more complete modules released lately. It flies and handles pretty well. I've had some great time in it already. -S
  7. QF-4E drone

Here is another drone for you to shoot down on the Range or fly on the weekends. Makes for a great test aircraft also. Enjoy!
  8. I'm adding EAW to my TDY laptop and wanted to add Desert Air War mod, so I looked to this. But all links are broken. Anything still active? -Jeff
  9. Thought the integration of the Caucus map into EDGE was going to do this??
  10. I wasn't happy with version 1 of the Meridian skin, so I updated some errors and went ahead and did up a CTW-6 Pensacola Goshawk.
  11. Based upon my own set-up, and from what I'm reading about others, this patch isn't great. Start-up times have increased, if it actually runs and it renders the VEAO Hawk unusable. I've noted that the LN MiG-21 now requires activation every time you start either sim (1.5.3 & 2.0) So, they've all got more work to do and hope a quick fix is released soon.
  12. Default T-45 Goshawk skin is rather plain. So I went ahead and added details that are missing for a much better look. It isnt a Goshawk, but looks more the part now.
  13. F-117s at 3:03?? Very cool.
  14. Have you thought of doing the Type D or Type R recce pod for the MiG-21? Despite not being able to actually take photos, it would be a cool add-on to at least simulate and look the part. -Jeff
  15. Trouble with the Warthog Stick

2011 isnt that long. Especially for the price of that HOTAS. I've had the same CH Products gear since 2001 with a crap ton of stick time on it. I'm just now getting some delays and drift with the pots. That sucks. Hopefully the new PCB will fix your issues. -Jeff
  16. I think I'm getting a lot of enjoyment from it, because a place I know. It's familiar because I've been there. Looking forward to seeing it grow.
  17. He needs to be banned there too. What a douche
  18. That F-ing guy needs a good beating. Ask a legit question to generate discussion and that jerk ruins it. I get it, he doesnt like ED/DCS. Geez, get over it and stop buying the modules. You're not getting your money back. Sell off the stuff and move on. Rant off.
