You better get pics. This Sturday, we've got a B-25 coming in to an airport up in Northern Oklahoma, being escorted in by a pair of P-51Ds. I'm driving up and possibly flying as photoship. <S> To those that didn't return.
  2. "Fights On!" P.S. Yes, I know I didn't dump my tank. I did after the merge though.
  3. The more complete, the better. Sounds like you've got it dialed in pretty well. Nice work Kevin!
  4. Excellent work! I really like how they sound much more natural. -Jeff
  5. Take a look at JonathanRL's "Fake" AWACS thread: http://combatace.com/topic/71624-fake-awacs-in-campaigns-tutorial/ The same could be set up for a tanker unit. I have added a tanker to my single mission using the mission editor. Getting the timing for it be around was tricky. I just made it burn big circles for countless hours (just like in real life).
  6. "Because we can..." Kevin, love those UAE Mirages!
  7. It's a know issue since SF:NA release and was not fixed in the Apr 12 patch.
  8. B-52 anniversary

    Happy Birthday to the BUFFasaurus

  12. Thanks! I'm enjoying doing the early test aircraft. The XE/VX-5 coded jet is an A4D-2 (A-4B) and the NATC jet is an A4D-1 (A-4A). I've got several more in the works, but these should be ready soon. Plus maybe some A-7s.
  13. Nice work my friend. I appreciate all the time you've put into yet another fine piece of work.
  14. Is there a way to remove the frosted look to the skin? The colors are very muted. Nice job on the Euro I scheme though!
  15. How about reporting this to the actual Thirdwire site? Is your graphic card even up to the minimum requirements as listed by Thirdwire? If more people would let TK know that his revolutionary terrain is causing severe FPS drops, then maybe he'll do something about it.
  16. Hawker Hunters in Hawaii?

ATAC does alot of military contract Aggressor work, so it is plasible. That is a very far flight for the Hunter, so if they are there, I wonder how they got there without air refueling. -Jeff

  18. Nice find. I'd love the accelerated promotion rates if it was in real life... Adding these now. -Jeff

  23. First off, what the f***? I heard about this yesterday during the morning ops meeting. Needless to say, I'm sickened by this. Some female sitting in an A/C'd office was given this for "Gamez distinguished herself by meritorious achievement as the NCO in charge during a 365-day deployment, January 2011 to January 2012. While in Afghanistan, she accurately executed operational funds across eight remote bases, providing commanders with flexibility in support of counterinsurgency efforts. Gamez trained 68 operational fund teams, reviewed 34 projects and funded 280 joint acquisition board packages enabling critical base sustainment." This has gone viral over several military forums, with mostly the same reaction as I had. The AF has pulled the story from their official news site. I'm sure the negative press was the issue. I've got a guy I worked with up at McConnell, who in his previous job as a cop, got blown up in his Hum-Vee during at IED attack. Even though he suffered physical injuries, his Purple Heart was denied, as was his Combat Action Medal. This whole thing was summed up best on one of the replies: "It's all about who you know. Sucks but it works like this in the military and outside the military. Better get some knee pads. I got mine"
