  1. CAS with rockets Letting the lads know we're watching over them
  2. Thats the new Wright-Patt map. The C-5s never left, they're all broke and cant take off.
  3. I heard on the news that parts of Australia are flooded, so you'll have to re-do your map Kevin. ;) Nice screenies all.
  4. No prob. I figure it was easier to help streamline things, than b*tch about them. ;) -Jeff
  5. Here are new config ini files for each Aircraft, plus a complete SquadronList.ini I've gone through my books on the Falklands and used them include and make a uniform listing of units from both sides. Since this is a group effort, there were several different listings, or wordings, for the same squadron/unit. An example would have been the 5 Grupo de Caza. It was also listed as 5 Brigade on some skins, etc... Each of the skin Texture.ini will now match each Aircraft config ini and will have a listing in the SquadronList. Just unzip to your main SF2 Falklands Mod folder and allow to overwrite. -Jeff Falklands Units.zip
  6. Thank you Champ. Luvin me some drones! -Storm
  7. Eric, I wasn't trying to knock your work, so please don't take it as such. I know how difficult it is to convert such a large install. I was just trying to point out some areas, where I thought, might be missing. I could never get the weapons to show up in game. Sidewinders, aux tanks, etc... but no worries.
  8. Backing up what Murphy's has said about the weapons. The weapons are not in SF2 format. They are missing the data.ini file for each, although a SF1 format WeaponsData.ini is given. The SF2 weapons editor doesnt recognize them. Or have you consolidated them into the cat file? Thanks! Storm EDIT: Just checked in game and confirmed once again that the weps do not appear. Looks like the wrong format. Also, there is no SquadronList.ini included in the pack. Without it, many of the units will not show up, which does affect the decals. I'm working on one now. One last thing. Many files are still in ANSI format, not UNICODE. Has this been 100% proven to aid in the game reading files faster?
  9. I'm uninstalling Exp2 until this stuff gets fixed. It broke more than it gave. Msn Editor or not.
  10. for all the NCO's out there in CA land

From the 1894 US Army Officer Guide: "Enlisted men are basically stupid. However, they are sly and crafty and bear watching at all times."
  11. UK Harriers retired

There has been some talk of the USMC procuring the Harrier T.10/T.12s to supplement the TAV-8s. While they're at it, they might as well snatch up the GR.7s at a low price. -Storm
  12. Something I read about in a recent issue of 'Hook. The Navy had a few QF-84B, painted in an all over orange. White NAVY titles and basic numbers. Great work Champ! -Storm
  13. I'm a drone fanatic. My plastic model display at my house is full of them. My latest being a F6F-3K Hellcat. Maybe time to start one for SF2. My QF-100 is still around here somewhere, along with a QF-4E. -S
  14. Sounds like your SF2E.exe are pointed to the wrong folders. Ensure, by looking at the Properties of each one and see which install it's pointing to. It also helps to rename seperate installs to keep some of the confusion down. SF2E NATO4 versus stock SF2E, etc.
  15. Skinning is addictive. There is always something out there that you've wished to have in game. This is how it starts. Nice work on yours. Good luck. -Storm
  16. Just tried again without the mission editor. Just reduce my flight to 1 via the roster. Started at the end of the runway. So looks like ramp starts are still unavailable.
  17. Download the skins you linked and start comparing them, with the new mapped SF2I Kurnass skins. Cut and paste as necessary. You might actually begin skinning on your own. Or you can continue waiting to see if Ant has the time to redo the whole lot.
  18. Great bit of journalism, Douchebag. Good thing checking facts isn't a requirement anymore.
  19. Kevin, Did you try 180? I've expanded most of my cockpit views to better see over my shoulder and have used 120/-120. -Jeff
  20. Tried this last night, as I was hoping to see if this is working. I took a stock menu mission (not one of TK's missions) and edited the flight number from 8 down to 1. Same result as above, I started the mission in the middle of the runway and slightly cocked off to the left. Eric -- when you say unedited mission, do you mean outside of the mission editor? Basically reducing your roster to 1 via the roster screen? Has this been brought up over at the TW forum? If not, it should be brought up in a Exp2 bug thread. -Storm
  21. A year in the saddle...

Harry, You are right on the money. With my purchase of SFP1 way back in the original WalMart release days, not only did it bring hours of virtual fun (and some frustration), it helped make friendships that still continue today. -Jeff
  22. Nice Spinners! Can we expect a Kuwaiti F.53 soon also? Or a true What-If, three-tone camo'd Saudi Lightning. There was rumor of one being painted that way, but I've never seen photos. Only drawings. -Storm
  23. Nice front page! I do hope your interest persists and you do continue on to the other theaters. -Storm
