  1. What Camera do you use?

A700 user here too. I've still got my old Minolta 7D as backup, but it's on it's last legs. Lenses are a mix of a stock Sony 18-70mm, a Sigma 28-70mm, a Tokina 80-200mm and a Sigma 170-500mm. -Jeff
  2. 445th Airlift Wing First C-17

Finally! Now maybe that one jet can bring your MC rate back up. ;) -Jeff
  3. Very nice work Sid! One of the few black tail schemes, I actually like. -S
  4. Happy Thanksgiving

    Happy Thanksgiving to all!
  5. I hope that the basket they've placed all of their eggs in, doesn't tip over.
  6. I'm seeing that alot too. I'll set my guys up for an easy kill and they won't fire or drop a single weapon. I don't get it. -S P.S. Congrats!
  7. Not sure if this has been brought up or not, but with the mission editor, will ramp starts be permitted now? Since it looked like we could place objects, I'm hoping this will be a new option. -S
  8. I was thinking the same thing. One of the most famous photos of that era, show a WP bomb going off over-top of the USS Alabama during a demo.
  9. Well done. I took it up for a quick hop and managed to drop my troops on an enemy airbase, while dodging MiGs. Thank you!
  10. The worst movie ever

    How about Gigli?
  11. Just basing my reply on what I've seen over Iraq and Afghanistan, so bear with me. Both aircraft are used in the same mission roles. Strike, CAS, BARCAP, tanker, etc... However, the Foxtrot has been the only one carrying the SHARPs Recce pod. Although it's cleared for both types, I think having the extra crewman to run the pod has been the key factor. On that, they still retained some CAS ability and carried a GBU-12 and GBU-38, plus aux tanks. They were often paired with another F or even a mixed formation with a C or E. Hope it helps.
  12. Wish Her Luck

Put on my E-7 stripe this past Monday, so I've got some extra Mojo I'll throw Sheilas way. -Jeff
  13. You are correct. There were more mods under Bee Line that I was not able to do with the current F-4B_67 model. The only aircraft we've got that has the RWR antennas on the intakes is the F-4S, but it differs so much externally, I wasn't going to use it. I did the best as I could, with what I had available and within my capabilites.
  14. Is there a way to change it's flight trajectory? I was given a video showing RAF Tornados doing CAS workups with the Brimstone. After launch, the missiles appear to climb up and arc down upon their targets from slightly above. Just curious. -S
  15. Trying to add in the F-4N with Wrench's updates. But the tail end keep sinking in. I've looked over the F-4B_67_data.ini (it's based off of this) but cannot find anything out of the ordinary when comparing it to the F-4N_data.ini I was thinking contact points or even a CG issue. I'm stumped. Any help? Thanks. S F-4N_data ini.rar
  16. How about I zip this up and upload it all here and save you the trouble? I'll get it set up tonight. -Jeff
  17. Fresh eyes caught the problem this morning. I was missing the main gear animation difference between the F-4B_67_data.ini and the F-4N_data.ini. That was the problem. Thanks FC. Kevin, I'm using your pack that updates the N to the '09 patch standard. In your README it says it might still work with SF2. It does, with only a couple of minor edits. And the SF2 VF-111 skin from Sundowner works fine. Cheers! Jeff
  18. Kevin, Are those altitudes in meters or feet? I'm tweaking mine also. Jeff
  19. I think you are looking for the "caged" mode. I think the default key is ' That should set you back to Nav/Caged mode. -S
  20. Just need the data for the 27MM_BK27. I don't have the wep pack unzipped and don't feel like going through the whole install process. Can someone post it here please? Thanks! S
  21. Thanks Brain. Working on bringing the Tornado IDS over to SF2. Jeff
  22. In the Giant Book of Modern Combat Aircraft (or something close to that, its from the early 80s) it had several sections on various aircraft. In the F-16 section, it talked about the M61 20mm cannon. Using a MiG-21 as the target, in a 90 degree plan view, the MiG would be hit 4 times, spread out over the length of the jet. Reading stats from the game, a aircraft can be downed from one hit. And it doesn't appear to be always in a critical area. IMO, this could use a slight tweak. -S
  23. You can do your ini edits and realease that, and then in the README, post a link to the file so that you aren't violating their property. Mods, am I correct in this? Should be ok. -S
  24. Thunderbird #8 is here at McConnell right now. The rest of the team arrives tomorrow for our show this weekend. Good luck at Little Rock. It's one of the better airshows as your back is always at the sun, pictures come out really nice. Plus they seem to book some excellent acts. Storm
  25. Happy Birthday Spinners!
