Man, I hope we get a -53 eventually. I won't buy YAP. Maybe we'll get a Pavelow mod. -
Well, I'll go ahead and exercise my 1st Amendment. Judge Robert Blackburn is a POS. How's that for free speech?

Excellent work on the QF-4S skin Ant! -
Looks like your ISO is set too high also. I use 100 for my basic shooting. As you get higher, you get the noise. Looks like you did a great job with keeping the subjects framed though. The EA-18Gs were supposed to stop through here today, but apparently went elsewhere. Were both low-vis? Thanks for posting Dave.

Stary's shot of the F-86, reminds me of the A-model Sabre at Duxford. Beautiful! -
Cal ANG F-16? Great news on the pilot. Metal can always be replaced. Dudes can't. Funny is that despite being from California, I've never seen a 144th jet in person. I'd love to A/R one.

Awesome!

Is it possible to edit the spoilers to go from only roll control to adding them to be speed brakes also? Or is this something in the model that had to be allowed from the creation? I'm looking at the B-1B and it's spoilers work for roll control and as speed brakes. The difference that I see is the extra RotationAxis=X-AXIS text. Thanks in advance. -Jeff P.S. Is it also possible to lock out certain control surfaces from working past a certain airspeed or tie it into the flap position? I'm not going crazy, just trying to make something as close to real as possible.

A/R testing for Dave -
They are flying a mix of A thru D. They were supposed to be all in C/D for this season but either didn't get the jets in time or didn't get them all modded fast enough. Their El Centro season opener had #1 and #6 in Cs while everyone else were in A/Bs. With the Navy proposing to buy additional Super Hornets for fill the Legacy gap, there should be some early Lot Supers available eventually. The FRS is full, and NSAWC is slowly getting their allotment. I'd suppose they will be flying the E/F within 5 years. -S

You're always doing some awesome What-if skins for various jets and thought you'd like to try your hand at some of these. Here's the link to ARC's What-If Schemes: http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=130242&st=2040 Should keep you busy. -S -
The AF is saying "fine, if you won't give me this amount of money, I'll just go and retire this, this and this". They know full well how important the B-1 is to the guys on the ground. The JTACs love it. Another part of the cuts would see all of the remaining F-15C/Ds retired (AD and ANG), plus all F-16s prior to Block 50. And for what? To pay for 187 jet we can't/won't send into a fight and another that we can't afford, but the Government wont realize that fact. Oh to be a Congressman or Senator.

So is the SR-71 only going to be released to a select few? -
Catching up on all that I missed and will grab the ExPack1 for SF2:I this weekend. With a flyable Mustang and 3rd party cockpits for the Spits and S.199 add-on, I'm curious how the game handles the prop FM. Or do they act like jets? Just askin'. -S
-
So I got the ExPack1 installed plus May patch, etc. I flew a quick mission leading my 4 Spit MkIXe against a 4-ship of EAF Spit IXcs. Down low those clipped wings really work well, and I noticed a slight speed advantage for the IXc with the round tips. The AI is still weird about firing. Enemy AI had no issues, only mine. Anyhow, I'm very impressed so far and look forward to really getting back into it. Now I'm installing the 1948-56 add-on. @ Fubar, PM inbound. -S

Thanks for the link. They fly really well in FS9. The M2000D "drops" weapons. -S

That really breaks my heart... RIP

Mine is a metallic tan ;) Great looking Jeep Dave. My wife is leaning toward a new four-door Rubicon to replace my '03. That silver is really sharp. -Jeff

Wrapped another one. Headed to Mildenhall for a stop-over and then home for some down time. Pretty decent trip. Got to see my brother for the first time in 5 years, hit my 250th combat mission and made MSgt/E-7. Our crew flew 33 missions, logging 250+ hours and offloaded 500K lbs of fuel to nearly 80 recievers. Will be nice to catch back up with the CA crowd. Maybe even score a new simming rig to go with the new Thirdwire release. -S
-
Yes, thats the place Ant, meant to type Cotswold. Cheers! -Jeff
-
Thanks for the great words gents. We've made it as far as Mildenhall so far and will continue on tomorrow. Really nice to see green again. Cheers! Jeff

Happy Birthday Stary. Hope it's a great one!
