Hyperlobby, Where Losers Go To Raise Their Kill Rate

They have a lobby/launch point for the TW sims. The connection usually sucks though and rarely works. -

Ditto. Glad you made it out safely! Jeff

He didnt say anything that was wrong, IMO. He just stated his opinion that IF such thing was allowed, you would increase the number of recruits. If a nightclub only allowed in ugly chicks, do you think guys would go here? Not many. Gotta love the PC media.

Hyperlobby, Where Losers Go To Raise Their Kill Rate

Ordy, Over the past month, I've been quite a bit of M/P via Hamachi. Drop me a line, I'd be happy to fly with you. I've been putting some of the MiG tactics to use and would like to try out more against different people. The AI doesnt cooperate. -S -

I'm gone one day, and the name calling starts. That's it Slavens, I'm going to IFE into W-P and dump gas all over your ramp. You'll be working your fingers to bone calling everyone in... -
Way too much paperwork involved. Last year, we had a lady run the gate here at McConnell. Long story short, she was able to get all the way to the taxiway before she stopped. She was wanting the SF to shoot her. They didnt of course, but did arrest her. Nutjobs...

They traded up their tired Block 25 C-models for some Block 30s from the guys at Ft. Smith, Ark when they got Hawgs. Being my home state, I'd like to refuel them someday. Dang Gucci boys outta Travis always score them. Nice skin. -S -

It's Alive!!! And has some clothes on. I fly this in MSFS all the time. It's such a nice jet. I'll be excited to get it in WoE. Have you seen some of the What-If camo schemes for it? SEA, low-vis grey... -S -

Love the work on a new Super Hornet family. Not be throw a monkey wrench into this, meant more as an FYI. Your model(s) is/are Lot 25 or earlier jets. They lack the later ECS pipes between the tails and have the flat ECS vents. On the F-model, it's missing the ACS (Advanced Crew Station) in the rear pit. This was a large 8x10 screen for the WSO and was recognized by the enlarged Instr. panel and combing. You guys were talking about the missile rails and how the AIM-9 sat forward. The SH uses the LAU-127 rail and some were modified with an extra cooling system on the aft end, giving the rail a kind of tail that extended past the aileron. I havent seen these in use in a long while though, so what Harold has done is good. Again, not trying to be a Pain in the A**, just giving some additional info if you need it. I've got some top down shots of the ECS pipes if you want them. They've been retrofitted to the earlier Lot jets. Here is a shot of a VFA-211 jet from late 2006 over Afghanistan. It's pretty much as you have your model right now, except for it having the longer LAU-127 rails. -S -
Tacit Rainbow Guidance
ST0RM replied to Anthony W.'s topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
It was meant as an ARM, with a loitering capability to wait for emitters to kick back on, then attack them. Currently there isnt an ability to do this. It's pretty much point and shoot. -S -
Anyone want to try the YF-17?
ST0RM replied to Dload's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
More than likely wanted someone else to do it for him. -
You aren't kidding about the AI!

That shouldnt be auctioned off to a private owner, but purchased by the country and placed on display. As much as I'd love to have it myself, this is something that needs to be shown to everyone. Maybe his diary could be released in book form. Would be an interesting read. That is awesome though! -S

I've still have and use my original TrackIR 1 since I bought it when they first came out. Only over the last few months have I stopped using it as much. My shift from FS2004 (where the VR cockpit flying rocks with TrackIR) to almost exclusively "flying" the TW sims, it's not needed as much. Bummer your attempt at building your own didnt work out, Vanessa. But never give up on the first go. -S

First thing that I thought of was how it could be applied to H.A.L.O. jumpers. Amazing video! That guy skimming the rack face was just sick! -S

Eraser, nice work on the X-32. While ugly, I do like the later version that was to have tailplanes, revised wing and a different intake. -S

I'm busy until Wednesday of next week, then I'll put a time and my Hamachi net here and see who can join up for some Co-op. Has anyone succesfully used the CA Teamspeak server lately? It wouldnt allow me to log in and locked my account last week. -S

Flight surfaces question
ST0RM replied to coolpilot's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Dang, this sucks. I was hoping to piggy-back off of this and add it to the KC-135's outboard ailerons. They lock out above 200kts when the outboard flaps come up fully. Roll is then controlled by the spoilers and inboard ailerons. Oh well... Great experiments though!
