  1. Getting closer to how Fighters Anthology's editors worked. Very nice idea and work. Thank you! -S
  2. I've already done it in addition to the corrected chaff/flare system. PM me if you want it. -S
  3. F-8 Crusader what if?

Sketch, I just went through your gallery and am very impressed! All of your work is outstanding, but my personal favs are "Remember 1968", "Emily" (My daughters name), and "Sky Pirates". Your "Island of Dr. Moreau" is pretty nice also. Welcome to CA. -Storm
  4. As FC said, IR jammers are not implemented yet. This came up a while ago when someone inquired about adding an IR MWS (missile warning system). Since I dont have a solid understanding how an IR noise jammer works, I wouldnt have a clue as to how it could be added. Now a DIRCM/LIRCM system, thats easier to understand, but still isnt available. -S P.S. None of the images you linked are showing for some reason. Just Red Xs
  5. Stary, you've outdone yourself. Gorgeous terrain! Thanks Jeff
  6. Lindr2, the Su-25TM (aka Su-39) has been updated from the old ASO-2V system mounted on the engine nacelles to the UV-26 system mounted in the tail. The UV-26 dispensers give the Su-25TM the ability to hold 192 cartridges of chaff/flares. Hence my ini edits reflecting this. Erwin's model even has them built into the skin. Shall I provide references?
  7. Fem-Bot

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article2023392.ece Fem-bot's my love machine By STAFF REPORTER A BOFFIN too busy to find real love has INVENTED his idea of the perfect woman – a female ROBOT. Inventor Le Trung, 33, created Aiko, said to be “in her 20s” with a stunning 32, 23, 33 figure, shiny hair and delicate features. She even remembers his favourite drink and does simple cleaning and household tasks. "Fem-bot" Aiko, who has cost £14,000 to build so far, is a whizz at maths and even does Le’s accounts. Le, a scientific genius from Brampton in Ontario, Canada, said he never had time to find a real partner so he designed one using the latest technology. He said he did not build Aiko as a sexual partner, but said she could be tweaked to become one. “Her software could be redesigned to simulate her having an orgasm and reacting to touch as if she is playing hard to get or being straight to the point,” he said. The former software programmer has taken out credit cards and loans, sold his car and spent his life savings on perfecting the machine. “I want to make her look, feel and act as human as possible so she can be the perfect companion,” said Le. The odd looking pair go out for drives together in the Canadian countryside, before sitting down at the dinner table, but Aiko never eats anything. Le said: “So far she can understand and speak 13,000 different sentences in English and Japanese, so she’s already fairly intelligent. “When I need to do my accounts, Aiko does all the maths. She is very patient and never complains.” The fem-bot has a touch-sensitive face and body so she reacts if shown affection or hurt. “Like a real female she will react to being touched in certain ways. If you grab or squeeze too hard she will try to slap you. She has all senses except for smell,” he said. Le, a child genius who was put in a class for talented youngsters, made his first robot when he was just eight years old. He began work on Aiko two years ago in the home he shares with his brother. But the stress of working on such a difficult project became too much for Le and he suffered a mild heart attack in November last year. “It was shocking to have a heart attack at the age of 33,” he admits. “But the doctors said I’d been doing too much. “I may need to have Aiko look after me one day. “She doesn’t need holidays, food or rest and she will work almost 24-hours a day. She is the perfect woman,” he said. “People have mixed reactions when they meet Aiko,” he said. “They either love or hate her. Some people get angry and accuse me of playing God. Once someone threw a rock at Aiko. That really upset me. “But many people are fascinated by her. "Women are generally impressed and try to talk to her. But the men always want to touch her, and if they do it in the wrong way they get a slap.
  8. Nice job. I like the single centerline tank config also.
  9. Surprisingly not. They have 75 seats in the upper section, at the rear. But they are crowded in there pretty good. I guess if you are down in the cargo bay of the C-5 or C-17, it would seem spacious and comfortable. I prefer my seat right up front now. No fighting anybody. Even the boom pod is comfy if I've got a sleeping bag.
  10. Funny as I preferred the Herk as I knew I'd have a better chance to stretch out, even if the flight took longer. And as for the KC-10, we dont call them the Gucci boys for nothing.
  11. Deleted. If anyone wants the updated chaff/flares and lights, PM me.
  12. Pretty cool. Now if we could get a permanent way for us to start from the revetments. -S
  13. Random Thought In A Scattered Mind

Hmm, interesting coincidence. Funny how the mind works. Cheers!
  14. Oh please someone with the skills help out Ed. Parabrakes are one of the things I wish TK had fixed from the initial release. You cant have an F-4 not popping the chute. -S
  15. Hey, one more thing. The hangar screen that Erwin used was awesome and got me thinking. Did the Russians ever use highway strips, like NATO did? If so, how hard would it be to add them to a few of the Red sites on the map? Would be great for the Mi-8 and Frogfoot. Again, just thinking out loud. Time to fly... (2x B-2As) -S
  16. Yea, let me get them finished tonight and I'll post them here. Right now, I'm headed in to base to go fly (a real mission, not virtual). Check back tonight. -S
  17. We began this by talking about Russian SEAd jets and ended up with a new BETA aircraft to test out. I'm really impressed with it so far. The detail you've got to this point is outstanding, Erwin. If you dont mind, I'd like to reposition the lights and chaff/flares, as they are slightly off. Also, any thought on changing it's designation to Su-25TM, since that seems to be the most current? Looking forward to future additions. Thanks! -S
  18. Subscription Plans NOW Available

Better late than never. $$ sent.
  19. Another Bear comes out of hibernation. Looking forward to this one as well Ed. Jeff
  20. 2 ME-262's In A Day

I've read more than my share of combat reports from both sides for a paper I wrote on the late-war Luftwaffe. Despite the points you brought up, shooting down two fast moving jet aircraft is still a huge accomplishment in my book. -S
  21. Favorites/cool pics

Wow Jug, you really know how to make an appearance. Great photo! Jeff
  22. 2 ME-262's In A Day

Pretty bad a$$ to get two within a few seconds. And even better as a gunner.
  23. Gotta love the demands of the noobs
  24. Yes, it's obvious it's an airshow or some sort of trade show where Mikoyan is trying to sell the aircraft and has some dummy missiles loaded for show. -S
  25. Favorites/cool pics

Using the Minolta 7D. It's not quite as high-tech as the Canons or Nikons, but it does pretty well. I'd like to upgrade to the Sony A700 this coming year, but we'll see how the finances go. Jeff
