  1. I'm updating the F3D Skyknight_data based upon info I'm pulling from the Ginter book. So far I've fixed a few factors that were slightly off on the [DetectSytem] and [FlightControl] entries. I've been pouring through the Knowledge Base for explanations of values, but couldnt find anything other that the AI entries that Dave added. So, what values did TK use for weights and thrust, etc...? Thanks! Storm

    Well, Minot AFB failing their latest Nuclear ORI didnt help much. Especially after they were the ones who flew with lives nukes. Personally, I'm glad these two are out. The above is a drop in the bucket as to the damage they've done to this Air Force. It will take years to correct it all. Storm

  5. Looks like I scored a Coronet next week and one of our stops will be Crete. I'd like to contact their equivalent to a PA officer to request a few hours shooting their F-16s and retired T-33s at the far end of the base. I know this is a long shot, but you never know. Storm

    Thank you for the contact info. It's worth a shot. Plus I'm a USAF aviator, so I'm hoping that allows me a bit more trust that I'm not a spy. I'd just like to see their Vipers in action, taking off and landing. Plus those T-33 are just wasting away at the end of the runway. Cheers, Storm
  7. Now that is the skin I'm after. I love the flat black scheme. I'm working on one for the F3D Skyknight since the only ones are blue. As for any errors, the Stars-n-Bars look too far forward on the VC-3 machine.

  9. He has some screenshots of his Tigercats on his site, but there was nothing date wise to indicate how far along he was. I'll wait and see what becomes of them. As for the Corsair -5N, I was going to use the F4U-2 that you have in the download section and edit accordingly until something more permanent shows up. Was just curious if someone had already done a VMF(N)-513 skin so that I wasnt redoing swork already competed. I like your idea about the cockpit/radar. Thanks Kevin! Jeff
  10. I did some tinkering around and got the UPK-23-250 gunpods to work on the Hip. That is one of it's real world loadouts, so I'm sticking with authenticity. Nothing cosmic, go into the weaponsdata and make them exportable, then add them to your loadout.ini Viola', rockets and guns. Storm

  18. I noticed that the A-4E Ahit wasnt showing up and looked in the A-4E_Ahit.ini file for it. It was showing the LODS from the older sims "A-4E.lod", etc. Looking in the Objectdata.cat with the SFP1E tool, shows new LODS for it. They should be listed as A-4EV2.lod and so on. Like I said, not sure if it's been identified yet, but figured it might help someone. Storm

  20. Whoops, forgot to add that the above add-ons were tested on the ADV FM. To use on the standard FM, just add the dispensers to the [fuselage] node SystemName[012]=DecoyDispenser1 SystemName[013]=DecoyDispenser2 SystemName[014]=DecoyDispenser3 SystemName[015]=DecoyDispenser3 And the actual dispensers after the weps as you see in the reply above. All should work fine, just change the number for the system, etc... Storm
  21. Ok, here is my attempt at adding flares to the Mi-8 Hip. I'm giving you two options because of the glitch that has the game popping 4-5 flares each time you press the button. The first is based on the ASO-32 system that Crusader found for us. It has 4 buckets with 32 flares each, mounted on the tail boom. This is the "authentic" load. Thanks to Fubar512 for his explanation of the eject velocity. It helped figuring out which was what. In fact, I've created my own add-on explanation of the eject position if anyone is interested, or if it can be added to the KB section. Hope this helps out a bit and keeps you from getting smoked by those IR missiles. Storm
