  1. Good looking skin :) Israel carries it's National Insignia in the "six position pattern" - both wings upper and underside. You might want to change the decal.ini accordingly.
  2. lock up the ground target with the "E" button then point your gunsight at it and let fly with the fancy hardware
  3. http://www.bunyap2w1.com/
  4. changing default loadouts : extract the A-6A_Loadout.ini from the WOV\Objects\ObjectData.cat archive put the extracted file into the A-6A folder open the A-6A_loadout.ini with an text editor, changing the stuff is easy...just take a look... i.e. a part from an F-4E Strike loadout : Loadout[01].WeaponType=MK82 <--Station number and Type of Weapon Loadout[01].Quantity=6 <--- self explaining.. Loadout[01].RackType=MER <--- type of rack if more than 1 weapon is carried on the station (TER/MER) Loadout[02].WeaponType=MK82 Loadout[02].Quantity=6 Loadout[02].RackType=MER Loadout[03].WeaponType=MK82 Loadout[03].Quantity=3 Loadout[03].RackType=TER Loadout[04].WeaponType=MK82 Loadout[04].Quantity=3 Loadout[04].RackType=TER Loadout[05].WeaponType=TANK600_F4 Loadout[05].Quantity=1 Chaff/Flare yeah...they work you can add them to any plane you want make sure that all players have the files - or you get connection troubles I know that for edited Aircraft_Data and Loadout.ini's it'Äs enough if the host has the files installed (put into the right folders) then all players who join the game get them transferred automatically, they are stored in the NetCache folder
  5. what am I doing now?

    great landscape :)
  6. the problem with the drop tank's is this line : ItemNumber=x the game engine doesnt recongnize the individual tanks. I tested it. you can rem out the line (put a ; or // in front of it) and the needles will show the fuel of all droptanks at once TK is working on it.
  7. YoYo, take a look here : http://bbs.thirdwire.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=1891 ;)
  8. Yup, that could be right. 1000 lb (454 kg)
  9. I have telled following another guy some weeks ago and it worked for him : install WOV out of the box, then start it and do a single mission. Then try to apply the patch 1. If it works, do another single mission. Repeat this sequence until all patches are installed. It's worth a try. Good Luck
  10. Yup, I know about the different loadouts etc. I have read several books about this conflict and some websites too (some of them in spanish). It's correct that the Argentine AF wasn't prepared for Anti-Ship missions. The Sea Dart/Sea Wolf systems forced them to ingress low and the small arms fire/SeaWolf partially prevented them to make the pull-up to the correct release height for the bombs. And they did use parachute-retarded bombs later in the conflict, accordingly to the AAF website. Of the A-4Q's only 3 were equipped with the OMEGA navigation system, that means 3 off all existing A-4Q and not of the 8 (+2-3 i think)which were actually used. Some of the A-4P's did have the same OMEGA system, but numbers elude me right now...I remember reading a number of 5... not sure. From the FAA website : paracaídas= parachute Another bomb often mentioned as loadout for Dagger, A-4P and Canberra is the MK-17. I don't know anything more about it. Probably 500 lb/250 kg class. Another interesting loadout from the same day :
  11. naa.....the British sailors put up a really hot small arms fire , the Argentine pilots were forced to fly very low due to this and most bombs simply didnt have enough time after release to arm properly. Also there was a lack of retarded bombs, apparently the Argentines used a parachute retarded bomb later in the conflict , manufacturers of that bomb is unknown to me.
  12. open the f-5e_data.ini and look for Ceiling=xxxxx remove the ,

  18. hmm...the only twin racks available in the weapon editor are Twin Bomb Twin IR Twin AHM I don't believe there's one for ARM's...

  21. what am I doing now?

  22. Jet Thunder : Angola - any chance?

good news with all the Mirage details
  23. RAAF F18 Super Hornet

USN used several in the '90 during the "No Fly Zone Enforcement" over Iraq. Missiles were used at the maximum of the envelope.....no hits. The Iranian kill rate with AIM-54A was excellent. They even got one triple kill of MiG-23's and (at least) two double kills. Nearly all kills were against fighter-type aircraft like Mirage F.1, MiG-21/ MiG-23, Su-22 and probably one Super Etendard. Several MiG-25 kills and Tu-16/ Tu-22 was the only "big game" stuff......
