  1. A few small points (incomplete) to check on the Su-35:
The cockpit is of the Su-27 series, not a Su-35.
Also the Su-35S doesnt have "odd-rods" IFF antenna under the nose
The model is missing the forward-facing RWR antennas relocated on the wing leading edges
The chaff/flare dispensers are of a new type, holding 14 x 50mm cartridges, 2 outer rows of 5 and a center row of 4
The tailcone holds 2 additional downward-firing dispensers
Tailplane underside forward area is titanium like on the top

The variant description on the linked page, I think they have missed to point out the new location of the forward-facing RWR antennas.
Those are relocated to the leading edges of the wings.

BTW, what are the differences between EQ5 and EQ6?

I guess a very brief description of the differences would be that provided in Wikipedia for EQ-6 - new Sherloc digital RWR, new Cyrano IV-SP1 radar, and capable of carrying two Exocet missiles at once. 30 built

Mirage F1EQ-5 is capable of carrying a single Exocet under the fuselage. Other sources indicate Cyrano IV-MR radar with terrain avoidance capability for the EQ-6.

An interesting piece of information on the EQ-6, that I came across,  is that back in 1989 those were equipped with rails to carry and launch Kh-29L soviet/russian laser guided A2G missiles.

On a different note, I am happy to see new Mirage F1 variants with later cockpits and more recce, ECM, etc. pods included in the weapons list, so I hope we are close to the moment when it will be time for updated Mirage F1CT/CR versions.

Cyrano IVMR radar is specific to the F1CR, not installed in the EQ series.
But all radar variants of the EQ series have terrain avoidance/anti-collision modes which are all not automatic (so not like in the A-6/F-111/Tornado)
The Kh-29L modification was made with at least 2 EQ5 aircraft. Didnt see any combat usage.
Combat operations were conducted with a pair of aircraft, an EQ5 for target designation and a Su-22M4 as shooter with Kh-29L

The EQ6 is an EQ5 with following changes/enhancements:
    - new digital RWR
    - new radios
    - improved radar with SPI - Signal Processor Improvement with two Air-Surface modes (for targeting ships)
    - enhanced armament system with a default capability for mixed loads on the inner-wing stations (AS 30 L or AM 39 + tank)
and a configuration of two AM 39 Exocet on the inner wing stations (includes new launcher pylons)

Iraq received all but the last 4 of the 30 EQ6 on order. Seven of the delivered EQ6 were painted in the dark blue/white Super Etendard scheme.

  4. Ive been looking for a hotfix for the pylon angle problem some time ago (Feb 2016 says my test bed file F-16CM_B52 data ini)
Ive added a new component with new systems. The systems are flaps with a permanent angle which moves the offending pylon/launcher.
IIRC, that worked as advertised   but did not for the launcher/towed decoy combo mesh on several F-16 variants. Perhaps a hierarchy issue or something else.
The weapon attachment angles require edits to match the "flapped" pylon/launcher angle

Ive attached my modified testbed file - note that the "PylonAngles" component lacks entries like MassFraction=0 and perhaps another thing or two (FM experts to consult)

  5. C.12, Spanish AF started with AIM-9B which were upgraded to/replaced with AIM-9J very quickly.
The AIM-9J were again upgraded to AIM-9N-2. Upgrade was made by the EdA themself, they are different
visually (coloring) from US-upgraded 9N-2 in service with e.g. Belgium.
Sparrow variant was the AIM-7E during the whole service life with EdA.
    Gun pod SUU-16
Spain received ECM pods,  "3-can" (6 antennas) ALQ-87 and the ALQ-72
Other stores in service with Spain: BLU-1, LAU-3A, BR-250, BR-500

Sipri database, yep, its a good source for basic info/research leads and not without errors, even missing known transfers entirely.
Useful for a general idea about acquisition/service entry of equipment.

What kind of AIM-9s and AIM-7s does Egyptian F-4s, carry?  And which AIM-9s does their Mirage 5SEE and 5E2 carry? Does Eygptian F-9 (J-9 Farmer), MiG-19s, besides specific MiG-21 ever get modified to carry AIM-9s?

The sipri.org arms transfer database is another source, at least for an initial lead on various things.

From memory: Egypt started with 9J's on the F-4E, quickly supplanted by AIM-9P-3 and also received AIM-9P-4 later in the 80's for F-16C.
AIM-7E and E-2 for F-4E (dont know atm if they received the improved E-3).

Mirages were fitted with Magic 1 and modified for AIM-9P-3, Ive seen photos of both configurations.

The Farmers were modified for the 9P-3.

EDIT: missile type (and some other info) from the 10+ years old Osprey books is outdated.

  7. The large box indicates total fuel, in lb's as set in the cockpit ini
Max indicated value is set to 32033.0 lb
The data ini should have the fuel quantity set in kg
Screenies are showing that the EFT content is added to the total indicated by the large box.
So the max value is set too high for indicating only internal fuel, probably.

I'll have to reactivate the SH in my install and then see what alternative setups I can make.
