The Florida State Ice Hockey team (Me and a bunch of team-mates that wish they were as good as me) traveled to Pensacola to take on Tulane (Fri, and Sat.). This weekend was f*cking awesome, it was a fine example of what college is all about.... binge drinking, unprotected sex with strangers, and pissing all the non-young people off because we're makin too much noise.... till the sun's up (then its sleepy time...sometimes :P ). Anyway, we (I) won the game on Friday; 4-0 (my numbers look so sexy right now, got like a 2.14 GAA, and a S% at like .930). But as I'm sure you know, the Football team got smoked, and so did we on Saturday (I did not play... cause of this bullsh*t time sharing with the other goalies). So we lost 6-3. Got some pics from this weekend (somebody's gotta email them out to the team), Blue Angels were at the airshow, that was cool, met some wicked peeps behind the house we were stayin at (strangers B) ). Well F*ck that, I need to be creative, so I'm drinking my cheap drink of choice.... 7 and coke... so I can write my essay on "Was the British take-over of India inevitable?" and sh*tty Dr. Singh wants "Immagination"... I figure a little help from Mr. Seagram can turn me into Hemmingway. I am currently still working on the first 1/4 of my 1.75 litre bottle, and am on my 2nd page of this lame ass 1500 word essay. I still dont recall the PLO attacking a US Navy ship.......... but Isreal did............. dont want their best buddies snoopin around when they start attacking other countries. Its simple, we get inundated with the isreali point of view in America, and rarely hear the Palestinian POV without getting some sort of anti Palestinian commentary from an Isreali guest or some wacko ultra-rightist talkshow host. All points are moot in this conflict........ you get enough money from us to sort out the problems. There is mass discrimination against Palestinians in Isreal... to the point (I read this after I read your thread, as I was looking to balance out the thread), that if a Palestinian adds on to their home without permit (which it is impossible for them to get), then the Isreali government doesnt just fine them, or demand a removal of that new section of housing.... no that would be civil, and rational... instead they bulldoze the whole damn house down. I believe in the article, something like 30-40 homes in Jerusalem, were ran into the ground at the time that article had been written. But you know my thoughts on the situation... a DMZ from the Med, to Jordan, Syria, Beriut, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. There is no possible explanation for letting the bloodshed in that tiny corner of the world affect the rest of the globe in the way that it has. Neither side has proven to be just, neither side is civil, and thats why neither deserve autonomy. The whole of the middle east ran much smoother when the Ottomans were in control, and to a certain extent when the Brits controled it. Ofcourse with the exception of a few revolts against those powers... but those revolts only affected those powers, and not the rest of the world. In short, its two little babies that have stopped throwing sand at eachother, and have grown up, and started throwing grenades (various heavy ordinance for the Isreali's)... It's time the two babies got a parent. If you cant behave, then you need to be smacked around by someone bigger, so that you learn your place. Back to our news coverage of your little BIG dispute. If a club in Tel Aviv gets hit by a bomb, and kills a dozen Isreali's its called terrorism. When the IDF shells, rockets, and bombs a residential area, its called "just" retribution.... I call it all terrorism. Unlike what the news tells you, terror has nothing to do with the manner in which the act is carried out, it only has to do with who it is carried out against. If its against any form of organized and armed foe then it is warfare. When it is against civilians, then it is terrorism. Saddam Hussein rocketed Kurds, IDF rockets Palestinians, how are they different? They arent, unless you live in America, or in Isreal, in which case the Iraqi AF is a bunch of terrorists, and the IDF are protecting their freedom. I put all acts of violence by an organized group against unarmed civilians, in the group of terrorism. That includes our terror bombings of Germany in WWII, the 2 atomic bombs, all of our recent events, Soviet oppressions in Eastern Europe, China's acts of evil, etc. etc. etc. (dont get me wrong governments do what they have to do, but enough with the constant protectoin of Isreal). I shead the same amount of tears for Palestinians as I do Isreali's..... I might actually shead one, if you sicko's grow up and act civil. This issue should've been settled long ago, but neither side can get passed their zealotous points of view. I get enough one sided pseudo-compassionate BS thrown at me at school everyday, crap like "No Blood for Oil", and save the F*CKING WHALES. I dont want to see it here on Biohaz anymore. Yes, I used to post about politics, and I used to honestly care about some issues, but my vote doesnt count, and my views will be discarded as easily and as quickly as yours. I will stop soon. But do keep in mind what I said about me shedding tears for your people. Your country has cost us thousands of American lives, and into the hundreds of billions in American dollars, and you have given us nothing in return, other than "We are the only real democracy in the Middle East", put some Muslims, and Christians in your Parliament, and then you can say that you have a real democracy.... your parliament looks as balanced as any Southern State House after the American Civil War. I am wondering what would be a good vid card, not a 256mb but maybe a 128, I dont really wanna spend more than like $250 for a card, anybody know a place where I can get a kick ass one for that price? Also, I am wondering about ram. Now I have 512mb of PC800. Can I just go buy another 512 and add that to my system, and instantly have a faster PC? I just had to switch out my DVD drive (since it nearly ate disc 1 of NHL2004). And I was lookin around my dell, and saw that it shouldnt be to hard to add ram and a vid card, but then again I dont know dick about squat when it comes to PC's. What would I have to do software wise? Is it all just plug and play? Seriously I need help with these Q's, Im not planning on making an attempt at upgrading for atleast a month. Noles drop 2 games to Florida Gulf Coast University in Ft. Meyers this past Friday and Saturday nights. Losing game one 6-0, and game two 8-0. Here's a few pics... I did not play. Im so glad track IR is coming out with new software in a little while, and LOMAC isnt due for atleast 2 months. Now I can save cash, and buy track IR, Lomac, maybe a new vid card, and hopefully some more ram. Then I can let the addiction begin in all its glory :D

Totally blows PC. I got a bunch of family out there (mom's side), and got a sh*tload of property in San Diego (couple mil worth of apartment complexes (get'em when moms passes), think there in town though)..... hmm wonder if they are fire insured. How are things up on the Mesa's, I got some family (hadn't seen since I was 5) that live up there... forget where though, just know it was like an hour outa SD, ontop of some scary ass mesa..... can fire climb rocks? Back to your situation, I heard on the news that some F*CK started the fire (or one of them) with some sort of incendiary device, tossed it out his car window or somethin. I havent checked out the other company's hockey games. But if they are better than this I'll be amazed. Last years NHL was a full on POS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The graphics are like LOMAC graphics this year, and the game play and modeling is phenomenal.... maybe its the gold version from last years.... lotsa people thought they released a beta.... sure as hell looked and played like one. Oh and the fights are intense this year, no more cheesy 2 punchers, now you can do all kinds a stuff. This game is hot hot hot.... I recommend it..... IT LOOKS WAY BETTER THAN MADDEN. Oh yeah, just played the best simulated hockey game ever. Gold Medal Game of National Tourney.... Me (USA) at Canada. Started out Canucks up 2-0, I picked up one, then they scored again (3-1). I scored another but they came right back so it was 4-2 going into the 3rd. It was really rough, got down to about 4 mins left and still down 4-2, then I picked up one on Tkachuk crashing the net and picking up Poti's rebound from the point. So now I'm down 4-3. Got down to about 45 secs left and I pulled a wrap around with Todd Marchant, and evened it up... But... with like 15 secs left Paul Kariya caught me in a change and smoked Dunham on the Glove side. Canada takes Gold (win 5-4), USA goes home with the Silver (just like last Olympics). It was a really fun game.(I usually dont enjoy loses :P ) Oh and one more thing... there are goalie fights! I rocked Garth Snow with Eddie Belfour, and got a draw against Marty Turco (also with Eddie).
