I've got CFS3 up and running like a champ. Yay! But...I do not have my copy of OFF, and believe me when I say I've searched. I have a bad feeling it was on a drive that died. Am I stuffed?

Hey guys, hope you had a good xmas and stuff. What did santa bring? :D I've seen the latest P4 preview on Youtube and what with RoF taking forever to come close to P3's fullness I want MOAR! Problem is I only stopped flying P3 because I finally had to upgrade my PC and had no choice really but to go 64-bit and quad-core and remembered how badly P3 performed on my old Q6600, which resulted in switching to an E8400 dual-core for smoothness etc. So the question is this, have the guys (Pol etc) been able to do anything with CFS' core code to allow it to handle 64-bit and quad-core CPUs with P4? :)

All good so far and I've not seen less than 40fps with all the sliders maxed out. But damn, I've forgotten so much by way of tweaks...how to lose the radar thingy, how to sit back in the cockpit. I'll get there though.

Ha ha! Found it, I have it on a DVD disc. I thought it was a download.

The new online campaign for RoF promises to be a killer, if they can get over the lag-causing AI limitation. Which also cripples the offline component in terms of how many planes can be up at one time. RoF will never be able to fill the sky like OFF can (living breathing world stylee), online or off. Skyrim, most played game since P3, simply superb.

I've read that there are fragments of Mayan stuff refering to an event of some kind that ties in with the end of their calander. "OFF2" chiselled in granite though...?

Not sure I can agree that e9.99 is a good price for a coaster. CoD is dead and it's become very very clear there will be no full and proper fix for all that ails it, the vast majority of resources have been dedicated to its sequel.

My IT business has gone down the crapper due to lack of money out there in the world and making parts for guns isn't exactly flooding the coffers. Lean times ahead, thanks to the scum at the top who think the world exists for their benefit alone. The pleasure of the few at the expense of the many (feel free to quote me on that). Guys, I've had to go stay with my mother for the forseeable and will be able to get home only once a month, so I'm afraid I will not be able to maintain the killboard. If somebody wants to take it over and host it on their own site I'll be able to hand over the Dreamweaver files when I'm next home at the end of may. Sorry for the failure of service but the situation is unavoidable. Meanwhile, keep up the battle! :)

Thankyou for all the kind words chaps, they are very much appreciated. While thinking about how to make the files available it occured to me that all somebody needs to do is download the site as it is. The only images that would be missing are a few of the mini-medals, the ones for the higher number of hours flown. I can stick those into a holding-area if anyone still intends to take over the board. Let me know here.

I've always had that happen quite frequently. Can't say it bothers me much, a minor thing in the grand scheme.

Logically I can't see how a movie depicting an airplane crashing to the ground could have so traumatic an effect upon a baby. More likely that it was indeed a past-life experience (one that both traumatised and killed you).

I hold every single big developer and publisher in the utmost contempt. There is not one...single...thing they do that isn't entirely focused on material gain (money). No morality, integrity, concern for the customer or pride in the work. It's just about the...money. I find that particular species of human being quite revolting.
