Agreed. My great grand father went missing during the Somme - he went over the top on the first day. Whilst we will never know how he died, at least if his body was found, he would have a marked grave.

Hi I have uploaded another Albatros DII Skin. It is based on a Jasta 17 aircraft - Unknown pilot and serial number.

Thanks - as you can see I am still keeping them simple. Hopfully I will be in a postion to compete in the competition next year, although I have gained a lot of ideas from the other aircraft skins posted thus far. Keep them coming!

Hi Also look through the old skinning posts as there is some very good advice from the more gifted skinners. I have started on very simple Albatros DII markings as Jasta liveries were only just starting to be used. Also be warned- skinning can become very addictive. Regards
