  1. Need some thoughts on this...

Feel a lot saver, in this part of the world at least, without guys like Bush and Cheyney..... And, obviously, in the US you don't know what real socialists are....... (and be glad with it) As for the Australian: when you point your finger at someone, there are always three fingers pointing at yourself. Conclusion: HE is the meathead Hou doe, Derk
  2. Would "PilotTrainingStandard" in the Nations.ini (Flight folder) make any difference ? The Commies and the Arabs are usually "POOR" and maybe "GOOD" or "EXCELLENT" may change things. Hou doe, Derk
  3. Air Warrior II. From WW1 up to the Sabre and MiG 15. Jane's USAF after that. Hou doe, Derk
  4. What Is Everyone Doing Over the Weekend?

Ha, ha, just brought my 1951 BMW R25/2 (12hp, 105kph ) to my brother (aged 75 himself) where it's going to reside the next month or so, and got myself a 1969 vintage Puch 50cc light motorbike.... Got it to something like 52kph after a whole afternoon of cleaning carburettor and exhaust system. Going back in time..time..time.. Hou doe, Derk

  10. Another little simmer has entered Combatace

Hey, a new model was launched and nobody is counting rivets or whining !!!!!! Hou doe, Derk
  11. What I mean is tht the enemy should also experience something like bingo fuel or even better fuel starvation in some cases... But OK, hard coded means hard coded, athough maybe something can be modded through a delayed loss of engine power after damage by cannon fire or a near miss by a missile. Hou doe, Derk PS: I over G'ed F18's, J35's and lately a Mirage 2000, resulting in wings coming off....... (by indeed stupid manoeuvres at high speeds) in WOE
  12. Never succeeded in that. They head for home at near sonic speeds (Fulcrum) after unlimited time in full burner. I followed one once in the F6 mode and he headed all the way back to the Polish border in WOE after a mission in the SW corner of W. Germany... Seems that the enemy is never short of fuel. Same goes for other MiG's and Sukhoi's. Only fighter with real range is of course the Flanker, but not the rest of em afaik. Anything that can be tweaked on that or probably buried too deep in the game engine ? Hou doe, Derk

  20. Worst Modeling Experience

Back in 1989 or something we had a very heavy storm that smashed the windows of my apartment. Most of my models (almost 100 of them) must have flown, because when I got home they were all over the place. And while entering my living room I stepped on a couple of them. I repaired the windows with wood panels but when my girlfriend arrived home the storm smashed the front door windows and everything was blown through the room again... It took me a day and a half to retrieve all the broken off parts from the shambles, including very small stuff. Some major restauration took place after that (A10, splinter camo JA37 and a couple of others) and actually only a few of the models were total loss and an amazing number could be repaired..... (lesson: NEVER throw away anything of the small stuff or parts that you don't use ) No nightmares though... Hou doe, Derk
  21. Good old Air Warrior (my fist sim) had the feauture. One could drive a truck, jeep or T34/85 , fire the gun and devastate an airfield but also and for instance blow up the Bandenburger Tor, Eiffel Tower, Tower Bridge or even shipping in Pearl Harbour.... Hou doe, Derk
  22. Stupid question: what's the airbase ?? Hou doe, Derk
