File Name: Alternate Tile For Operation Desert Storm Terrain File Submitter: JSF_Aggie File Submitted: 24 February 2015 File Category: Tilesets for Terrains These are alternate tiles made from satellite images for the DS terrain included in the latest version of ODS for SF2. They are 1024x1024. They can be used in other terrains that use the stock desert tiles, however I did not make all tiles from the stock SF2 desert tile set, only those used in the DS terrain.   2. Stary, Jul 13 now, and was on May 13 when I made that old post about the clouds. I see the same behavior with both patches as far as the clouds going to the heights specified in the EnvironmentSystem file. I've never tried to mess with this on other terrains, but if it only works with SW US, it's not anything I did on purpose to make it work.
  3. No worries blaze, I didn't take it that way.
  4. The height map / terrain elevation is correct for the SW US map, just the eastern half is just too far above sea level for the values that work well on most of the other terrains we have.   6. Guys, I need one of our experienced campaign gurus to lend me a hand. The TopGun campaigns are very basic, i.e. Air2Air only. I'm getting a CTD consistently when trying to start the 2nd or 3rd mission. It seems to be the 1st mission of the 2nd day of the campaign. I'm not sure, but I believe it started when I updated to the latest patch. Is there anyone who would like to take a look at it and see if they see something I'm missing? Thanks

  8. What "Campaign Difficulty" setting to you start your campaign on? I've been testing with "NORMAL" and the worse I've seen is 2 v 4, but I've also tweaked some stuff since I sent you a beta.
  9. Sorry. Less than two weeks. I'm just flying it and tweaking campaign settings.
  10. It should be fine in a current install. It includes a stock nations.INI file that just has the aggressors added, that might need to be merged. I'm going to call that out in the readme. It has modified loadout.ini's for the F-4's, that remove the gun pods. Those could just be deleted if unwanted. Other than that, its just campaign files, skins, and the F-4J_74 & A-4's.

  12. I'll try and send you something to play with by the end of Sunday. I'm all for an '86 campaign as well. We can look at package size, 3rd-party & DLC requirements, etc. Maybe it'll make more sense to upload the four campaigns seperately. Stratos and Stingray, There will be hot kills. It's an air combat simulator, not a simulated air combat simulator. How would you: tally kills, tell the AI he's dead, measure campaign win/loss conditions? Feel free to tackle those items after this is released.
  13. Thanks cangas. I still lack a good one with a '78-ish Tomcat, if anyone has one. Centurion, I just have the aggressors flying a couple of flavors of A-4's. I don't think they used the F-5's until after '78. Swordsman, I'll send you a PM.
  14. I know the S doesn't fit the timeframe, but finding decent quality images of the hangar has been surprisingly hard.
