  1. I got the stock LHA working as a carrier, with the parked aircraft being limited to just AV-8's. I'll upload tonight after I test a little more, in case anyone wants it.
  2. Playing around with the NA LHA...
  3. Man, I hope this means the AI will use thrust vectoring.
  4. Cool, I'll have to give it a try now. It's been forever since I tried, maybe even prior to SF2.
  5. There's a parameter in the Movement section of a ship's _data.ini that will cause the deck to pitch. However, last time I tried it would usually knock the aircraft off the catapult.
  6. Yes, it showed up in one of the recent patches. If you're a user-made, single mission guy, there's also an "available/not available" flag you can set.
  7. "Yay! Over 11,000+ fans!" He was just waiting for 11,000+ facebook fans before releasing.
  8. A week in the life of an IT tech

I wonder if one of the admins in my lab wrote this...
  9. Some Desert Storm campaign shots...
  10. Happy Birthday Erik

  11. With Gerwin's great tool, adding some runway tiles to the desert terrain...
  12. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...ode=sst&id=5390 File Name: Harrier Campaign V2.0File Submitter: JSF_Aggie File Submitted: 12 Oct 2007 File Category: Missions/Campaigns This is a fictional campaign, set in the stock terrain of Strike Fighters Project 1. It is set in 1978, as Paran tries to invade Dhimar. Dhimar is assisted by the U.S. Navy, operating from the USS Nimitz, and by the USMC, operating AV-8C’s from several small, makeshift airfields. This campaign requires Strike Fighters: Project1. It was not tested with Strike Fighters Gold, but it should work. A big thank you to everyone who allowed me to include their work in this Campaign. Special thanks to Whiteknight, who made skins specifically for this addon, and to Kesselbrut, who allowed me to include some of his objects from the upcoming Falklands Campaign. Finally, thanks to Kreelin for the great AV-8C flight model. 15. No problem here, however I used winrar.
  16. A couple things I noticed... - The desert_data.ini has to be saved as ANSI. I get a CTD if it's saved as UNICODE. - I was able to edit other terrains, but I had to rename their _data.ini and .tfd to desert_data.ini and desert.tfd. - It doesn't like 1024x1024 tiles. It doesn't draw all of the tile. - You can add new tiles to the end of desert_data.ini, and then place them Very useful for quick edits. Thanks.
  17. File Name: Hi Res Desert Tiles File Submitter: JSF_Aggie File Submitted: 23 October 2011 File Category: SF2 Series Add On Terrains Alternate 1024x1024 tiles for the stock desert terrain Click here to download this file
  18. I believe you have to extract the .HFD and .TFD, and name them to match your folder & main .INI, at least you use to.
  19. I'm not sure. I duplicated all the stock desert tiles, with the exception of the rivers, which aren't used by the stock terrain. If the desert3 has extra tiles over stock, they would be missing. My long term plan is to duplicate all the extra tiles for third-party terrains that use the desert tileset, and to upgrade the water/coastlines.
  20. Just one more I thought turned out well...
