  1. How many "Forces" do you have defined? TK changed the front line code with SP4, and it does a few squirly things if you have more than 2 "Forces" defined (one friendly, one enemy). I had the same problem you described in DBS '72 & OTC, when I had 3 "Forces" defined, and TK told me that was the reason. Problem went away when I changed it to just 2.
  2. Copy and paste the two routes to the bottom of your CUBA_MOVEMENT.INI in the /Terrain/Cuba directory, and you will now get CAS missions when you select CAS for a Single Mission. Also, if you're getting past 11/08/1962, and the ground war doesn't start, let me know and tell me what your Campaign Settings are when you start the campaign. ************************************************************** [Route008] RouteType=GROUND_ATTACK StartArea=Mariel Airbase EndArea=Ciudad Libertad Airfield RoutePosition[001]=263600,575600 RoutePosition[002]=269700,579000 [Route009] RouteType=GROUND_ATTACK StartArea=Matanzas AAA Site EndArea=Cuban Tabbaco Company Complex 2 RoutePosition[001]=379700,555000 RoutePosition[002]=391000,554000
  3. It's not something I can do off the top of my head, but it needs to have routes for the ground objects to move from. It's just some XY points. If it is missing these, I'll post one here when I get home tonight after my game. You can look at any of the stock terrain's _movement.ini by extracting it from their .cat file. Just make sure whatever XY locations you put in are over land, or you will have floating tanks. Kreelin's mission editor is a good tool for picking XY locations off a map, or you can get them from the terrain's _targets.ini file. But worse case, just wait for me to put one here tonight.
  4. Decieved? What is the date you are at in the campaign? The US forces will not appear anywhere until about two weeks into the campaign. In the README, I have the dates listed. For CAS missions in SINGLE MISSIONS to work, there has to be a cuba_movement.ini set up properly in the Cuba terrain's folder. I'll look when I get home, but I didn't change the file from the original release. This doesn't effect CAS missions showing up in the campaign, as I have been tasked to fly several.
  5. With the last big patch, there is more air activity than before. I've seen this in the stock campaigns, as well as tons of testing with the OTC and DBS '72 campaigns. In addition, you will now see seperate flights of the same squadron on occassion. I'm pretty sure this was not the case prior to the last service patch. I removed the trees from the forest tiles, the layered trees that were parallel to the ground and floating in the air. They were covering up some Cuban runways and I got the impression from Deuces that they were something he was just playing around with, and didn't mean for them to make it to the release. However, there are more palm trees on the farm tiles than before.
  6. It's the Cuban Missile Crisis, with the alternate ending of a US invasion of Cuba.
  7. It's been done for about a week, but because of FTP problems and a work trip, I didn't get it all uploaded to USAFMTL until last night. He should have it up here soon. I would say a day or two, worse case.

  10. Paul, I aggree with USAFMTL. If you have the decals named the same on each side it won't do it. I'm guessing you're making one decal with the number and tomahawk for each side? If you want, I'll send you the .bmp where I painted on the stars-n-bars, then you can remove that decal, and split up your tomahawk and number into seperate decals. Just inverse the tomahawk in the decal.ini and you should be good to go with no bleeding.
  11. Just an update for anyone interested... There was an issue with the campaign files that the current code in SP4 wasn't happy with. In the process of fixing that, I decided to add a ground invasion of Cuba to the campaign. As soon as that's done, it'll be released.
  12. I believe you just need to save the radar's .tga as a .bmp. It should be in the "cockpit" folder.
