Hi Firecage No luck downloaded three times (also downloaded 1916 Defence campaign that works ok) this is what happened on the screen at the end of the first mission Result Primary target destroyed Rating outstanding success score 2150 Remarks Olbt Don(me) awarded Iron cross the enamy offensive into Verne has been repulsed Jasa 2 Deutschmark Gypsies will be withdrawn from combat due to heavy casualties the campaign is finished. Not bad A but but every time I get the same at the end campaign finished. Tried all settings hard normal no luck I think the download is corrupt but im no expert. Will keep trying and let you know the outcome Many thanks Don.

Hi Firecage thanks for the campain, took me 2 hours to get all the plane and FM together. I donot seem to get past the first mission for ether side FRC or French, I get mission outstanding success at the end, but alway the campain is ended I have tried many settings and dont know how many times flew the mission. As you must have spent many hours doing this I don't want to dump it so any ideas. I think it must be my FE installation I have no problems with the rest of FE. Don

Hi Peter Have just requested a transfer from RB to FE to try your FE2b FM DATA seems good to me it did end the Focker scourge along with the DH2 ( will try later with the DH2 my commanding officer says I spend too much time in the sky and have to do some decorating NO not pilots) as im no expert on WW1 planes I did find it difficult to aim using the sights the bullets on mine go to the left of the plane, the guy in front is a much better shot than me. Can any one tell me the range of the guns the AI guy in front shoots at the enemy at over half a mile away. My Osprey book allied aviation of WW1 says the FE2b top level speed of 91.5 mph at sea level and the first 50 built at Boulton Paul I understand thats Woverhampton in the west midlands, in all 1,939 exaples including the FE2a were built Keep up the good work I for one like your FM on the FE2b DON

Just a quick one, not wishing to make this a RB forum (this will be my last reply on RB) Bruno, I do not fly on line im a coward. Firecage, and any others intending to install RB. I have a modest set-up AMD 3800 CPU, NVIDIA 7900 GS CARD, WINDOWS XP with SP2. This is what I used and it worked ok first time out First Aid Kit from- http://www.jasta5.org/Jagdstaffeln_5/red_baron_j5_3d.htm FCJ (Full canvas Jacket) Control Panel 2.2 from - http://www.swwisa.net/captdarwin/ this will change the screen res mine is 1280x1064 it will do many more wonderful fings to RB. One final thing do read all the readme's that come with any addon. Have fun, I will still use FE and OFF they will get better and time permitting I hope to contribute to these great WW1 SIMS

For me the biggest thing that ruins this brilliant sim is the AI they are looping the loop and flying into the ground and all other silly things. I have the latest patch installed hope TK gets to put it right in a new patch.

I belive this as been covered before can any one tell me how to stop the AI (Fokker mainly) from going up and down like a dolphin in and out of water, by altering the INI.

Hi yes it is the add-on planes that Loop and fly into the ground. I just did a second installation of FE and only installed the latest patch, wow only 4 flyable planes but they are very nice and behave. Now I had a total of 47 planes in the other FE installation well I really was asking for trouble. But what a nice sim it is with no add-ons (a little light on the plane menu). Now the million dollar question now is which planes to add but keeping it light I have in mind say 5 more or 10 here I go again like a kid in a sweet shop, if any one has any ideas witch AI planes fly OK I would be very greatful. May I remind every one it's only a game you know. Loosen up and take a hold of your Joystick and enjoy, have a cup of tea then go to bed and then do it all over again it's only a GAME.

Hi sorted it out, I was running the Terrain Mod Changer and the Flanders Terrain Folder was in my Mods Folder. I just put it in the Terrain folder and all is well. One to look out for if ones running the Terrain mod changer. Many thanks for the reply. Great Mission.

Hi any idea the mission hitting the Zeppelin's has not shown up in load mission. Have the flanders terrain and Sopwith plaane. thanks

Hi Tailspin try PC Tools Registry Mechanic, I have used it every day and it's been 100% OK with me. Windows is a very dirty O.S it do's need cleaning up from time to time including the Registry im no expert but the amount of temp files it finds every time i use it amazes me it will make a restore point when you use so you can allways go back, and dont forget the free Spybot and AD-Aware, spywear can slow your PC down. Ok all I know it's not FE just trying to help.

Hi can someone tell me every time I add a new Plane to FE say from Skunkworks it says add the weapons to the weapon folder and add the sounds to the sound folder of which I always do, my question is do's it add any diffrence to the over righten files or am I just wasting my time the sound files seem the same. It never adds extra files to the folder. Many thanks to all that take time to give us all the free add-ons.
