During a patrol over enemy lines in flying for Jasta 11 in my trusty Alb I see James McCudden he must have crashed into the ground as he dissapered, did he not spin into the ground on take off here is just 68ft off the ground and like I said he just dissapered did I see the death of an ace. What a great add-on by Ojcar the Armchair Aces Redux is thanks Ojcar for so much fun and to all the other that give there time for free. Here's a quick pic of my encounter -

Hope I have posted in the right place, for some time I have tried to get OFFICE to work and have given up so when I see the new 1.0.6 version I gave it a try but still no luck it installs then when I double click the short cut Play OFFbase for the first time it just hangs with loading and configuring not working none of the status bars show any movment also Rebol 3 Alpha go's through some stuff then just hangs a lot of writing the last few lines says - **script error: explosive has no value **Where make either if do switch applier apply if foreach if do-face if foreach do-triggers if foreach do triggers if view do switch applier apply if do begin do **Near: make iceobjs/member do configs [ user: make iceobjs/memb... im running Windows 7 64 bit any one with any ideas ?

Ojcar I just checked the Armchair Aces Redux campaign I downloaded again as I was going to reinstall and I see in the Campaigns folder it has FlandersFront folders, VerdunFront folders, and VogesenFront folders im a little comfused you say you do not use the Flanders map ? I must have it all wrong you are a much better person than me at modding FE2 than I could ever be. So please could you explain the reason for using the Flanders folders in the campaign folder. Thanks.

Well ojcar looks like I must have made a misstake installing your Armchair Aces campain in my campains folder I have the following folders Flanders, Verdun, and Vogesen. NO Cambrai folders. Will go over my install again. Panama Red, yes I have read the SF1/SF2 Knowledge Bases but I could not find any refrence to how to make a campaign or a mission only how to add objects and planes to campaigns. Hi Quack74 yes I understand what you have listed and I do have the Flanders terrain installed I use the Ojcar armchair campagins. Just one thing were is the Campaigns' Data.ini ? 1- I have the catpack and know how to use it for extracting files. 2- When I open the Campaigns folder there are lots of folders inside starting with FlandersFront01 to FlandersFront39 but no Campaigns' Data.ini Thank you for replying.

Hi Quack74 first off thanks for all you do for this great sim I wished I had your expertise, now for my question how do I see these great sea planes I have installed in FE2, i have added the ini to my Flanders terrain ect do I now have to make a mission or campagin here is were im at a loss I have no idea as to how to make ether a mission or campaign, is there any instructions as to how to make them I have search and come up with nothing. I understand this is a WIP so do you suggest I just hang on a bit for it to be developed more. I know Ojcar is great at the making of campains as I have his in my FE2 and working just great, can I be cheeky and ask could he make a mission so I can see the sea base. Thank you for your time.

Hi I just had a quick mission and this is what I was confronted with the British airship R23 seem to be too close together, any one with any idea as to stop the airships mating this way.

Thank you guys for the reply, I must read the readmes more. I have recently installed Ojdcar's excelent Armchair Aces Redux and found it quite a marathen adding all the stuff from just the orignal FE2 so I did not read all the readme's. Enjoying FE2 so much with all the addon's it transforms the sim, as for the airship formation it's not sutch a big deal I can live with it.

Hi I have installed the Armchair Aces Redux by Ojcar, my question is I no longer see the battles in no mans land with the tanks infact I do not see any tanks in any period of the war no mans land seems very quiet, some times I see troops avancing and armerd cars but they are not firing. have also noticed some of the armed cars and guns and troops are under the terrain. Can anyone give me a setup for a period in time to see any tanks I have tried the army cooperation setting and all sorts of settings still no tanks. How do I get the intence tank battles that are in the defauld install of FE2 please don't say delete the above campaign and just run the default FE2. My Western front is very quiet.

Thanks Ojar, have tried a lot of quick missions and pressing the F7 key I see nothing under the terrain your files were so diffrent to mine and one good thing is I get no flickering of the roofs on the buildings now. Couple of shots the first the german hiding in the cemetery, and a forced landing in a F2B what made me smile was the rear gunner lay on his back to shoot up at the enermy plane. Agreat sim made even better with your add-on campaign thanks again.

Sorry I should have said it's Jan Tuma's terrain im using. I have just unziped the Jan_Tuma_FE_Tiles_v-1-0 zip and see there are two data files in each of the following folders wwiVerdun/ wwiCambrai/ Vogesen/ Flanders also a backup folder, should I just copy the two files into my install. Thanks for the reply Ojcar and thanks for the campaigns. Do you think installing FE2 on another computer (laptop) and copying the terrain DATA INI from the new install to my original install may work ?

I have what may be a problem with my install of Jan's terrain this was added to the Verdun map, the telephone poles look well see the pic below. Any one encounted this ?. My PC spec- Windows 7 64 bit - card AMD HD7870- all FE2 settings on high (no problems running the sim)

I have now been trying to install Armchair Aces Redux by Ojcar and I have been at it for some two weeks and have run into many problems. I think I have all the planes. and installed. now working on the medals packs, my problem is the finding the Nations ini in the Flight folder and then opening it. I have downloaded the CatPack utility installed it then double clicked it but get error stating "This file is invalid for use as the following security catalog" So any help would be very gratful before I give up on what looks like a great addon. Thanks Ojcar for what looks like one great addon. hope I get it all together before I loose all my hair. Forgot to add my spec - Windows 7 64 bit FE2 works with no problems
