FE2 runs just great on my XP SP3 PC. The only problem I have with FE2 is I don't see a lot of difference from FE1 for the money, that's not to say there is no difference it's just I can't see a lot of difference apart from were the files are stored.

No problem Quack74 with such a good sim I have both FE and FE2 so will put it in my FE thanks again for all you do for this sim.

Thanks quack74 I can only find a Nations INI file after extracting it in FE there does not seem to be a Nations INI in FE2 flight folder. Please note for extracting files I used SFP1E Extract utility for FE and CatPack for FE2. quack74 is this for FE only ?.

Has any one got more than one install of FE2 with my FE1 I had two installs one modded and one stranded dos any one know if I can do this with FE2.

Thanks Heck for the reply, it do's seem to me a backward step for FE2 as it is not as modable as FE1 in as much one can not do another complete install of FE2 and have a different short cut on the desktop so unless I keep changing the options ini file. Looks like I will have to live with only one FE2 install. On second thoughts is it possible to install FE2 on another drive I do have three hard dives in my pc but then there is the my documents folder whey did they change it is this progress or change for the sake of change perhaps someone can enlighten me is it better the my documents way or the original way?

Hi Peter01 I have not tried any add-on third party campaigns only the default ones but the sim should not lock up with the default there is a problem some were, is your install ok with the default campaigns ?. I will try a add-on campaign and let you know.

Yes the same for me OlPaint01 my FE2 locks up and I have to reboot, I have the same PC spec as you but with XP SP3 home. PLEASE TK LOOK AT THIS.

FE2 the decals and guns not showing on the Pfalz D3 skins I copyed over from my FE1 install before I delete the plane has any one got any idea how to get them to show, I did try copying them from the main aircraft (Pfalz) folder into the individual skin folder but no luck. I have just installed the Jasta 16b skin set by Quack64 all the decals are showing but I have no guns do you think I should sack the ground crew.

Im a bit slow on this one Heck I have just had my second BSOD and the pc rebooted it's self, my problem is the Decals INI here is my Decals INI for the Degelow skin for the Pfalz D3 it is the one that came with the plane. Thanks Migbuster But still no luck with the decals showing and followed the link and instructions you posted. What I do not understand is other aircraft from the same site Skunkworks work ok with no editing the Pup and the Triplane to name just two,it's no problem I can live with out the Pfalz and any others that turn up with no decals or other items missing. Thanks again for your help.

Well I purchased FE2 (no food for today now) and installed ok but having problem installing Jans great terrain. Im running XP. I tried putting Jans terrain folders in the Terrains folder and then into the FE2 folder in my Documents no luck, I noticed in the FE2 Terrains folder there are no folders only two files. Peter01 in his new FE2 FMs mentioned a Mods folder do I have to make one and put it in my Documents FE2 folder,and were is the sound folder the N17 I copied over has no sound, Ho my this is not as easy as FE1 so many questions. We need a sticky on FE2 at the top of this forum Any help would be most appreciated thanks.

Thanks Peter your a gem, I have my FE2 running just fine and I even extracted the Flight Data cat and changed the View point for the default cockpit and padlock so my face is not pressed up to close to the guns I don't like the default settings, and the Hud settings.

Ok after one long sort I have sorted it out, one has to put named folders in the FE2 folder in My Documents. Now to try and change the hud details too smaller icons.

Peter in the download there are two sets (four)lots of GUNDATA some in the Weapons folder witch one shall I use, Thanks.
