  13. Yep, this is the first true SF2 game, not a remake or an expansion.
  14. But the game already has "sorta datalink". Whenever something fishy shows on another flight's radar you get a heads up from Red Crown. Both jammer and AEW could be either loitering roles like Snoopy (RIP) only higher, or extra escorts.

  17. Let's count the good things we see on the shots. 1. A brand new weapon type - anti-ship missiles. Could boil down to radar-guided AGM. 2. Two brand new plane types - dedicated jammer and a flying radar. I know, you can mod the same things but will have to "fake" the roles, guidance system or other stats. TK may simplify stuff but I don't remember him using modder workarounds instead of new code. Also, those things can be integrated into existing campaigns. Anyway, I wanna fly head on through a wave of Mach 3 missiles and live to tell the tale. Stop being bipolar, thread.

  22. Enemy planes are there from take off to landing or a fiery death. I just hope we'll be able to shoot down the missile vectors before they launch their stuff. Even if we get the cruise missile lock on, the number of targets will make the intercept more complicated and the bombers will get away. The "I don't got tone!" sample must be added to the growl loop.
