Was interested also in adding a Camel to the campaigns. Extracted the file and in the Campaign 1 Data file changed RAF Squadron 56 /Aircraft Type from SE5A to CAMEL----- But in-game the SE5A was still the aircraft available. Tried this a few times with both campaigns and both RAF Squadrons but all to no avail. Have I misunderstood or missed an important step ---would appreciate any advice on this---thanks

I have a question re LCD and native resolutions I am going to need to cast aside my old faithful CRT and invest in a 19" LCD or larger . My customary resolution for games is 1024/768 but I understand that native resolution for a 19" LCD is 1280/1024. I dont enjoy higher resolutions because ,with my aging eyesight I find the in game text too small. I have a double question 1) If you switch a native 1280 /1024 resn to 1024/768 on an LCD how much loss and distortion (ifany) is there in picture quality? -----or would some particular higher native resolution be switchable to 1024/768 with less loss in quality? 2) Alternatively, is there any way (within games) to keep the resn at 1280/1024 but increase the in- game text size? Perhaps finally-- what particular model of 19" LCD can you most highly recommend for games and sims like FE etc. Many thanks for any advice /clarification re these issuesa

Tex Murphy----Many thanks for all the detailed help. Just took the D5a up on a patrol ---excellent . I did just adjust the Pitchdamper up to .75 to minimise the bobbing. Cheers

Yes I think that was suggested as the cause. I was wondering whether this drag value was to be adjusted in the patch or whether we all need to do the ini edit individually to deal with it. Thanks for any clarification on this

Please forgive what is probably a very basic newbie question---but how exactly does one install and use any of the Eagles plane Skin Templates available for d/l from ThirdWire. Any detailed advice would be very welcome. Thanks

I have only just started using First Eagles but have a problem with the SE5a. After a number of Spad "Instant " battles I set up a "Single Mission" Defense Patrol with SE5a's. The problem I have found is that the SE5a 's targeting sight is an opaque white circle through which the targets cannot be viewed. Has anyone else come across this issue and is there any explanation or solution. Thanks for any help with this issue.
