OK, MJ....I finally completed most of it.....with some bad news. Mitsubishi 65" WS-65315 HDTV Yamaha 700 watt 6.1 Surround Sound Toshiba Progressive DVD Pace HDTV Tuner I hooked the computer up to it today via DVI cable and Componet cables. It works, but the resolution is 640x480 (480p) (60Hz) I can expand the resolution up to 1600x1200 but here's where it becomes all messed up. The picture expands beyond the bounds of the screen. In other words, if 640x480 fits the screen, then 1600x is bigger and I only get a small portion of the screen viewable on the monitor.....I have to mouse up to the edges. I'm still gonna play with it some more and see what HDTVoiace guys have to say...... But..anyway....here it is....btw....that's my Atari 2600 console in the lower left...hehe

I read this problem as well in a daily news report I get from AIN news. The first thing that came to my mind was the rash of Bad GPS Database cards that we have been getting from Bendix/King and Honeywell for our Hawker and Learjet aircraft. I've dealt with 4 such bad databases in 2 months. These card are nothing more then PCMCIA cards that install into the GPS. They are updated monthly. However, being an Airline flight, and constantly under ATC control, ATC should have known, or been able to descern the pilots actions in time to correct them. There are things like Radar's and Encoding Altimeters that update pretty regularly. oh well....just my 2 cents. <C> Fates

Once you've lightened up? It's a good thing you don't have 8 pax and 2 weeks of baggage. Citation X is an expensive, but fast, short hopper IMHO. You really have to set long range cruise back to .79, .80 or you'll take a huge range hit especially at .90. I'd rather be in a Falcon 2000 or GIV. Well....maybe the 900ex over the water. Transponder Problem Causes Capitol Hill Panic Attack It’s hard to believe that a King Air A100 registered to the Kentucky State Police could cause widespread panic through the halls of Congress, but that’s exactly what happened yesterday afternoon. N24SP was carrying Kentucky Gov. Ernie Fletcher to Washington, D.C., to attend funeral services for former President Ronald Reagan. While inside the Flight Restricted Zone (FRZ), the King Air’s transponder failed about 13 miles southwest of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), the flight’s intended destination. (Fletcher had prior permission to land at DCA.) According to an FAA spokesman, the twin turboprop never lost voice communication with ATC during the transponder outage, and the pilot did not violate any airspace restrictions or FARs. However, this did not stop people at NORAD (which monitors ATC radar returns) and the Secret Service from ordering the evacuation of prominent government buildings, where loudspeakers reportedly blared, “Incoming plane! You have one minute to impact.” Panic ensued on Capitol Hill, where women were told to take off their heeled shoes so they could run to exit the building. Before cooler heads prevailed and gave the all clear, F-15s were scrambled to intercept the King Air.

This was the single most pathetic race I've seen so far. Nascar is not suppose to be a demolition derby. It's suppose to be a race where the strongest team can stay out front and make the fewest mistakes. Nascar seriously needs to examine the rulebook and re-focus some attention on 2 areas; 1) Fast cars should not start in the middle of the pack. It is dangerous to everyone in the field. Nascar should work to make racing safer without jepordizing the outcome of the race. Starting lead-lap cars in scoring order ahead of non-lead lap cars would be a good first step. Maybe even do all starts single wide, or double wide with cars lined up in scoring order like at the start of a race. 2) It is assinine to close the pits when a yellow flag is dropped. The pit area should be a refuge for vehicles that are damaged in an accident to go to. It makes no sense to have a damage vehicle continue to make pace laps at 70mph while thier fender is cutting thier tire. It will only cause additional greviance. Lets make the freakin race safer!!! The reasons for me being upset, is the fact that I root for Jimmie Johnson, who ran in the top 3 most of the race only to be removed in the 18 car pile up caused by some slower driver that was just trying to let people by.
