"new" Surface To Surface Missile Capabilities
Fates replied to a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Being from Michigan, I remember that on a perfectly clear day, and from about 5 meters, I could look out to Lake Michigan and see the Top half of the Sears Tower in Chicago. As the crow flies...I'm guessing that's about 120 Miles. <C> Fates -

Website: www.CallofDutyX.com Download: COD Beta Patch 1.3 ATTENTION: THIS PATCH IS A BETA PATCH and is not supported by Activision Customer Support. It is intended to address the critical issues listed below: Call of Duty™ 1.3 Beta Multiplayer Patch Fixed a slow update problem with the server list. Fixed a problem where the server list would improperly list servers with a ping of “1.” Fixed a problem with the server list being incomplete. Fixed an exploit where prone players who leaned around corners could see the enemy without being seen. Fixed an exploit where players could switch between prone and jumping positions to move rapidly across a map. Fixed a bug with the sway animation of the sniper rifle scope on high ping servers. Made improvements to Autobalancing. lease carefully consider the following information before downloading and/or installing this Beta patch: This 1.3 BETA patch only supports English-language Windows versions of the game. There is no Linux version of the updated beta multiplayer code, and you will NOT be able to see Linux servers. Once you have installed this patch, the ONLY Call of Duty games you will be able to see or join will be on game servers that are running the Beta patch code. You will NOT be able to access any of the servers running non-BETA Call of Duty code (i.e. 1.2 or earlier). If you have friends or teammates who are not utilizing this patch, you will not be able to play with them. Once installed, there is no "uninstall" for the patch that would roll your game back to the previous (release) version of Call of Duty. Therefore, once you have installed this beta patch, the only way to revert to the release version of the game is to uninstall Call of Duty completely, and then reinstall the game from your Call of Duty CD-ROMs. Installation of this Beta patch will make you ineligible for any Activision Customer Support on this product. HOWEVER, reverting to the original release code by re-installing the game from the CDROM you purchased will reinstate your eligibility. Installing subsequent official patches will also reinstate your eligibility for Activision Customer Support. This patch does not address all known issues with the game.

SoV Beta Testing Begins! http://www.shoresofvictory.com/ About: Shores of Victory Shores of Victory is a realism based Half-Life total conversion modification staged in the Pacific front during World War 2. Battles are staged in non-fictional environments, meaning you can actually take part in the outcome of the war! Shores of Victory is a class based first person shooter - upon arrival in game, you may select your team - the Axis, which consists of the Imperial Japanese Army, or the Allies, which consists of the United States Marine Corps. From there, you may choose your class - Rifleman, Squad Leader, Support Infantry, Sniper, Radio Transmitter Operator, or Corpsman/Medic. Each class has it's own special abilities and benefits, providing a high grade of realism and fun. After the class is chosen, you are able to choose your actual in-game appearance from a large selection of player models. Next, you are able to select your arsenal. You may choose your primary weapon, secondary weapon and ammunition, as well as many other important items. The possibilities are endless. Actual game-play may vary, depending on the map. Your assignments may include securing a village, taking a hill, rescuing captured POW's, eliminating the enemy, and more. Our high grade of realism provides in-depth firefights, realistic aiming and recoil, and realistic damage.

I'll agree that cautions need to be advised to parents before listening or viewing what their children might see/hear. My 9 year old doesn't need to see a breast flashed on television, without some prior parental warning. However, when talk shows like Stern, Mancow, Bob & Tom are censored before the parent has the choice....that's not right. We don't have to buy a radio, we don't have to listen to the channel. The market should dictate what people want to hear and see...not the FCC. If the market doesn't like talking about panties all morning, then they won't listen to Stern. However Stern has 30 Million a year that shows that some airheads apparently like his material....and I'm sure the money aint coming from grade school children. Your right...everyone has their own agenda.

New Site Look! (temp)
Fates replied to PG_Raptor's topic in Site Support / Bug Reports / Suggestions
Would that be this week...or next? -
It is bad.... Hillary must have made a phone call to Tipper requesting Howards nuts be removed. Personally I dont' give a rats a$$ for Stern's Womanizing, but...it's radio...it's speech...and the last time I read the constitution...It was FREE! ARGH!!! written while listening to RATM..."Guerilla Radio" Fates

OK...just put out the America's Army Review/Article for everyone. I've been working on this for some time, but too many things in the Real World had kept me from finishing it. I felt that I owed everyone, including new members, a review of what AAO is all about. The Article is target towards those that don't no much about America's Army Online, but are looking for more information on the game before jumping into it. I hope everyone enjoys it for what it is. Cheers! Fates http://www.biohazcentral.com/article.php?34.0

Snapple.... FarCry IS BADASS!!! It'll be interesting to see how Novalogic approaches JO. I've never been a Nova fan simply due to their arcadic value...something the EA is approaching more and more. If EA takes over as the Novalogic of the past, and Nova can regain some gamers with a better simualtion...great for them. I will be watching this game as well, but with all the other major developments on the FPS genre, gonna be hard to pull my interest in their direction. <C> Fates

Thanks Screwjack! Tell ODB_Corvette to put a few rounds in Tater_Gun for me.!!!LMAO I hope the upcoming additions to AAO are worth the effort...they always have been. Nesher, the Non-Disclosure agreement means just that...unfortunately. America's Army: SF has been a welcomed addition to the game. My only dissapointment has been not modifying some existing and challenging maps to include SF Operations and Objectives. First most, I would love to see Insurgent Camp expanded and included in the SF operations. I would also like to see Mountain Pass SE to be included in SF operations as well...maybe even add a CSAR component to it...WOW!~ There's alot goin around about the future of AAO....and ya better be where'n shades. Keep up the good work Screwjack! Cheers!@ Fates
