Fast Eagle, PM me the IP for that server and I'll watch for it. I honestly haven't been playing much CoD since I've been trying to produce an AAO video. You know, it's like the Shoemakers son is the last to get shoes.... I'm sorta dissapointed with the MP so far, all the animation looks like ww2 soliders trying to squat to pee as they walk...LMAO. I really enjoy the Rocket map in Team Deathmatch. I am sorta sick of the bunny hoppin s**t though. I find some of the same stuff in AAO 2.0, but not near as much. Bunny Hoppin in that game will still get ya killed. Your better off to move quickly. I opened up on an Opfor the other day, he hopped just as he seen me, well...I aimed higher and it was hilarious. Pegged him with 1 round in the brainpan! He was shot back against a wall 3 feet behind him, backflipped, and fell dead. I only wish AAO had the KIllcam....sweet! <C> Fates

BUFF..... Abit = headache , just ask quite a few people. But that's a discussion for when Beer gets back in town ;) There may be no difference price wise between PC2700 and 3200 but check your motherboards acceptance of such RAM. I found that my older A7v8x would take up to 3200 but only in 1 slot. Thus it was better for me to run 2700 so I could utilize more slots. Anyway, PGRaptor...Buff does have a point that if you want to stay in the price range with those specs, you may be foolin yourself. I think the ultimate goal is PERFORMANCE and not NUMBERS. For example...if an AMD 2400 (1.9 Mhz) outperforms a Pentium (2.5Mhz) and cost $150 less....then...it's a no brainer. My only recommendation is ASUS mobo's and AMD processors. The Radeon is definately the way to go these days. CHeers! Fates

MJ, I use the Bohegeha forum at home and at work. However, my HOME use has all the text of the forum <centerered>, while my Work computer has all the text <left justified>. Snapple, Read the CoD Review : HERE It will give you some insight as to what different characters you play, as well as explain the game better. I wish I had MOHAA in my collection so I could have done some comparison for everyone, but I'm saving my money for LOMAC. I did however buy COD, based on the great demos that they offered. Once again, I can't speak about MOHAA, but I can say that the single player experience truely does draw you into the game. And, since it's from the same basic design team, I don't think they would have put out a new product unless they improved on I hope the review answers some of your questions. Cheers!! Fates

I can't speak for MOHAA. I can tell you that CoD is well worth the money I spent just for it's single player ability alone. I'm not that satisfied lately with the MP side of it though. THe Deathmatches can be nothing more then a Bunnyhoping aimbot cheatin frag fest. I enjoy the Mp games that require teamwork and at least CoD offers this ability. FOr that I am grateful that I purchased the game...and I'll be playing it more and more as the MODS for it become greater and greater. <C> Fates

I haven't been playing that often, mainly since the release of AAO 2.0. I prefer a more Real-Life simulation in combat over the more arcadish bunny-hopping over bullets combat. I'm busy with writing a AAO 2.0 review, and then I'll be back online playing some CoD. There truely are some great abilities of that game. For once I'm enjoying the KILLCAM, and I'm getting used to the different server settings. I play all games using the same callsign, FatesODB. You can find me playing ROCKET, SHIP, POWCamp and Dawnville maps. I'll try to post some of my online times in here when I can. Cheers! Fates

There is no such thing as a BAD addon....unless it don't work. The terrain mods are some of my favorites! And as far as aircraft, I'll have to vote all of them. These guys have put so much effort to bring you a product that they deserve everyone ounce of thank-yous they can get. Dont forget the Ships from Beer! He's done some awesome work as well. But I'm still waiting for Major Lee to Release his Bearing Straits work, WOW...that is just too cool. And your only about minutes from ME... I live in Avon ---------------------- And this year was special with it being the 100th aniversary of flight. Although there are plans to attend the airshow on a more frequent basis. The whole thing started out pretty much with the 87th FIS Virtual Squad holding it's reunion there. A bunch of allies, in the virtual squad community, decided to meet at the airshow. Member of the 87th, ODB, and GFA met as well as other enthusiast like BUFF, came all the way from the UK to join us. It was a great time. I'm not sure if I'll go EVERY year, but I do plan on trying to meet up with folks now and then. I'll always goto the Mt Comfort show as well as the Grissom show when I can. If you enjoy the demo's then you will not be dissapointed with the Game. The Single player is great! I'm a little dissapointed with the MP side of things, but as new MODS com out, I think I'll be quite happy. One of the greatest features, and one that I forgot to mention in the review, was the KILLCAM. You know as well as I that there is nothing more then chatter on everyones Voice chat about "HOW THE HELL...did he see me...??" Well...the KILLCAM solves that problem. The Killcam will give you an instant last few seconds from the perspective of the man that shot ya. No hidden secrets. This is a GREAT feature...One I'd like to see in AAO Cheers! Fates

The minimum required on their website: P3 1Ghz 128Mb Ram 2.8Gb Drive Space 4x Cd Rom So...the Answer is YES, but the do recommend a 2Ghz machine or better. I would think that your Vid card will be just fine, as well as your ram. You may have to turn things down to get descent FPS on the 1 GHZ machine...but I can't really say Cheers! Fates
