This was found by a Google search....do one...perhaps you'll learn more...like a removal method... http://www.experts-exchange.com/Security/Q_20642986.html -
I've been looking into the racing sims, and I've also been an avid Papyrus Nascar 2003 player...I'm curious as to how many members may be wanting more information regarding Nascar as well as F1, IRL, USAC, Champ, or other racing series simulations for the PC to be published here at Biohaz?

From what you've explained....Buff is 100% correct...it's a SYSTEM problem and nothing to do with the Saitek itself. Sometimes I would try hardware out on a different system just to convince you of that fact. IT's not the stick.
-
IF you have a "SYSTEM RESTORE POINT" that is prior to the Saitek Software being installed...I would think about that....it might depend on all the programs that you've installed since. Their may be some problem with using the 2 different drivers for SAITEK: You could completely UNINSTALL the DEVICE and reinstall it....that may remove it's existance completely and start ya fresh. I wouldn't go as drastic as reinstalling windows....If you had another computer that has never had a saitek installed on it...and has XP, you could at least install it on that computer and verify that it's not some electrical problem with the stick. <C> Fates

When is your next scheduled computer upgrade? Not to flame, but to keep up with what's "NEW" in software....you have to keep up with what's "NEW" in hardware. However...their are plenty of things to chose from, but what SIMS have you played...so we can eliminate all the obvious? And how "SLOW" is your computer? Their are alot of great games out there...and CFS or IL-2 may be the right direction, but not if you prefer flying the aircraft in LOMAC. Strike FIghters is a great game with plenty of mods as well...and works well on slower computer too. I don't fly much any more...I stick with the ground pounder games...and more of them seem to be introducing AIRCRAFT...like BF1942/BFV, Soldner, and many more. <C> Fates -
1) is it X axis, Y axis....or both? 2) is it the same in other games? 3) If the Keyboard does the same thing...then it's not your HOTAS or it's software/drivers. I would think that this is a Game Software problem and uninstall/reinstall of the game may be prudent. 4) What video card are you using, and did you update the drivers their recently? 5) Has this always been like this since you installed this game? 6) Has this been like this since you bought the X45? 7) Has it ever worked Properly? <C> Fates

I haven't tried it in a fast paced FPS game since I just created it and haven't bought one yet. However, it might be more effective to give it the orange sunburst effect like you see on the clock. I don't see ANY problems with that..... Or... I could do this:

At this point DO, you may want to investigate what your webhost provides and doesn't provide. Do they provide SMTP? Do they provide all the services needed to support a PHP website? I tried to create an account...but never got an EMAIL.... Have you tried turning this "checks and Balance?" feature off? Cheers Fates -

LIttle Glass in the PIt? Most them SAAB 340's I worked on (NWA) were all glass....btw...PM inbound Weasy. RAF_Dumoulin: About the white line, I used to get the same thing in Strike Fighters: Project 1...except it was a black line on the horizon between sky and water. This hassn't happened to me since SP2, so it makes me wonder if it was a gaming engine problem. I wish I could help more. <C> Fates

RAF_Doumilan, I have no clue about #2, except that others may need to know more about your computer and graphics card to help troubleshoot. and as for #1, I believe that you are saying that the airplane moves with the Throttle at 0 . Having flown real-life King-Air 200's, 100's, and 90's, I could tell ya that if the powerlevers are at idle....the airplane WILL move unless the brake is set or the aircraft is chocked. I do not know if their is a patch/fix to overcome this in the game, but in realife...it's a fact. This is mainly due to the props being at High Pitch during ground idle....it creates quite a bit of thrust (enough to overcome the weight of the aircraft) and propel it foward....this is why many pilots will taxi a King Air with the props set at HIGH PITCH but the Powerlevers in the BETA range. Beta Range is the area between Low Pitch and Reverse. This range produces less thrust...to...reverse thrust and allows for easier taxing...even to the point of turning using differential power (prop pitch). I haven't flown the King Air in FS2004...I mainly stick with the Lear 45 since I'm more familiar with the Lears, Glass cockpits, and equipment location in general. I hope some of this answers some questions...... <C> Fates

Good choice..... I'll be buying a AMD 3200 and Asus KV8 Mobo here in the coming weeks. Building a rig for my brother ...maybe I'll do some gaming FPS comparisons <C> Fates
