Amen. I might finish my Spitfire template some day, but something tells me I rather end up producing even more Crusader skins instead...there are still a few units I haven't laid hands on yet.

Women. Anyway, considering my own "mediocre" shooting skills I find interesting that I'm usually better with a rifle than with a pistol. Then again, it depends all on scenario, shooting position etc.

I don't think that this would be related to skins or decal.ini files of the aircraft in question on a fully merged install, as all campaigns in any version of SF2 would use the same skin. I would rather look at the campaign files, whether you linked units with the proper squadron number. Remember, you need to use the squadronlist to get the stock squadron decals to show up in a campaign VF-103 snuck into the 1962 Red Thunder campaign in SF2E: Some excerpts from the Campaign.ini: [uSNUnit002] UnitName=VF-62 'Boomerangs' (this unit uses a 3rd party skin) ForceID=1 UnitID=30 ... The last sentence cracks me up. Too bad the Navy doesn't care about tail art or squadron histories when making decisions about keeping aircraft or units.... I got to admit also that I don't care much about about the skull & crossbones thing anyway, it gets hyped too much for my taste.
