    The Republic of Ustio is located to the East of Osea and Southeast of Belka. After its independence, it had around three times the land it has now,but by the time of The Belkan War, most of the land had gone to Recta, Gebet, and Ratio. It is a small nation, about the size of Austria, and less than half the size of Belka at its height, but comparable to it, more or less, after its fall. It is a small nation . It is a landlocked country not bordering any major bodies of water. It is bordered by Belka, Sapin, Ratio, Recta, and after The Belkan War, by Osea.

    Wingman: GALM 2 (Mercenary) - Larry "Pixy" Foulke: "A Brother in Arms". Wingman of the main character. He is nicknamed "Solo Wing Pixy" because of a mission where his plane's right wing was blown off but he still managed to complete the mission and return (this has some reference to a real-life incident involving an Israeli F-15D Eagle [1], a two-seat trainer version of the F-15C Eagle, Pixy's preferred plane). He is Belkan in origin. After the war he continued his life as a mercenary. During 2005, when the narrator is interviewing him, he was a volunteer in the Usean Continent and is fighting in the country of Delarus. Quote: "Yo Buddy. Still alive? And thanks, friend. See you again"

    Commander: GALM 1 (Mercenary) - Cipher: "The Demon Lord". A mercenary and unknown main character. Much like Mobius 1 in Ace Combat 4, he does not speak throughout the game. No explanation is given about Cipher's life after the war.
