  1. Jane's Combat Sims

USAF sort of works - the game itself runs fine but some of the setup menus etc. don't. There are workarounds for most of them but the 1 major stumbling block was the QME (although you could always use another editor). I believe that even that may have a solution now plus I've heard it rumoured that it works under Vista.
  2. I think that I once asked Florian about this & got a negative. I know that I asked someone about something once & was turned down because he wanted the hits to his own site for advertising purposes - we would have to be sure that we had the originator's permission.
  3. Welcome, if it's an X52 Pro that you have then it's so new (still not available in many parts of the world yet) that there are few published profiles for it. (there should also be a way to convert an existing X52 profile although it will require some work) If it's a "plain" X52 then it should be easier. Useful places to ask would be saitekforum.com , http://forums.frugalsworld.com/vbb/, SimHQ.com & any large LOMAC-centric forum.
  4. The F-16 is inherently unstable - without the computers it wouldn't fly. I would think that the F-18 is the same but the F-15 probably isn't (being slightly older tech.).
  5. Did anyone see this?

    seen it before, yes
  6. I'm sure that TK is working on another game - hints would say early 80s & possibly the Middle East. The place to ask/suggest things of/to him though is on Third Wire's own forum.
  7. Can you be more specific? Do you mean as it looks like you or has your name on the canopy rail or ...?
  8. afaik the 'hog is going to be around for a long time yet?
  9. Solutions for a full hard drive

assuming that you've got a spare connector just adding a second drive for storage etc. is the easiest solution. Should be easy to do.
  10. don't think that there's any in the stock game, as the pilot you wouldn't hear it anyway but someone did do a mod for it in SF iirc.
  11. hmm, do we have Firestreaks? I can't remember ... tres cool anyway
  12. Yes, you can have as many as you like. The best thing to do is to do a fully patched stock install. Then just copy & paste that folder giving it a new name & you can run that copy from the .exe in the folder or a shortcut pointing to it. Rinse & repeat for as many times/copies as you want.
  13. we used to host Wolf257's model but he withdrew it (& a lot of other stuff) from public download.
  14. Problem with CH Yoke

if you haven't already found it this is the best place to ask http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/
  15. Need some input on a new proccesser

which socket for the AMD? presumably AM2? Do you know which mobo models are used?
  16. What to see in London

I strongly recommend the RAF Museum at Hendon but your wife may not be as enthused so try & take in a theatre show. Btw, I feel for you if the exchange rate stays like this - London prices & nearly $2 to the £1, ouch!
  17. there's a B-52D model already in the game. You should be able to fly it if you want just by adding a cockpit.

  19. Shadow Problem

It's been this way for over a year with ATi cards - works fine on nVidia.
  20. Well of course not all FE mods are available here so it's not possible to have ALL mods announced there, only those hosted on CA. This should be happening now but it's not retrospective i.e files released before we created a separate FE File Announcement section will still have the announcement in their original place.
  21. Saitek X52 Problem

That's unlike them although I do know that there was a backlog after Xmas (peak sales plus staff on holiday). You can also 'phone or they have a forum - www.saitekforum.com - once you register & login a lot more of the forum becomes visible.
