  2. OK try putting this in your Objects folder after you have unzipped it. You should also have a separate folder for each of Albion & Bulwark as well as separate data.inis for them in your Objects folder. GROUNDOBJECTDATA.zip
  3. So do you want a basic groundobject data.ini with Albion & Bulwark as the only addins? Alternatively read through what I told Dan to do. btw have you compared my .msn & yours to see where you went wrong?

  5. weird especially as I just talked Dan through it & it's working fine for him too... Have you got a lot of mods - I could always send you a basic groundobjectdata.ini with Albion & Bulwark added. Try using the carriertest.msn in this zip (you'll have to extract it of course) http://forum.biohazcentral.com/index.php?a...ype=post&id=966 It's set up for Albion.
  6. Nope, they sold out in the US & are having to do a reprint for there. I do know that TK is working on further distribution but how far it has got ... Meantime it is possible to import from the US for about £22-25.
  7. Rant Mode On

Plenty of free & decent image editing software available. 2nd is possibly more valid but I doubt that it's 99.9% of all visitors (possibly 99% of those that are interested) - e.g. I don't have PF .
  8. Navy Chief is back online!

MJ, a 12lb laptop? That's not portable - that's your home exercise weights.
  9. It's not released yet for Strike Fighters afaik. You can find the Hornet addon at http://forum.biohazcentral.com/index.php?download=653 but it isn't a Super Bug.
  10. OK, for this you are going to need to get a couple of things from the downloads section here at Biohaz. 1) A carrier - for this example Gramp's Albion 2) Skypat's cat extractor Take the Albion file & extract the .zip. Go down to a level where you have an Albion folder, 2 images & an ALBION_DATA.ini. Take all of those & copy them to your Strike Fighters/Objects folder. Now you need to use the cat extractor & extract the groundobjectsdata.ini from the ObjectData.cat to your Objects folder. (The ObjectData.cat you will also find in your Objects folder & the groundobjectsdata.ini will be about 15% of the way up from the bottom of the list in the extractor.) You now need to make an entry for Albion in your groundobjectsdata.ini so open it & add [ObjectXXX] <---- ALTER XXX TO THE NEXT AVAILABLE NUMBER IN YOUR LIST * ObjectName=Albion ObjectFullName=Albion Carrier ObjectDataFile=ALBION_DATA.INI *probably 038 if you haven't added anything before. Save. You will need a mission to fly from the carrier - try the attachment. Extract the.msn from the zip & place in your missions folder (I'm assuming that you are patched to Sp3). carriertest.zip
  11. That's weird - you are patched to Sp3? I've just done a clean install on a new PC & dropped that into the Missions folder (haven't even added the carriers yet) & I can select & fly it. P.S. seeing as you are showing as the same IP as myself (an NTL proxy) I guess that you are on NTL too?
  12. Sea Hawk F.2

    Version

    667 downloads

The Sea Hawk F.2 is now available. This is a very similar aircraft externally to the late F.1. The only change I made was increasing the max control speed for the ailerons to reflect the hydraulic boost that was added.
  13. its .msn not msn. e.g. from your first link copy all between & incl. [missionheader] & Waypoint[03].Objective=FALSE Paste into notepad & save into the missions folder as File Name carriertest.msn & Save as type "all files". Start SF, go into single missions>load mission & carriertest should be in the dropdown menu.

This represents the later version of the Sea Hawk F.1 with the tail fairing, brass chutes, and ram air intake on the nose.
  15. which missions have you installed (links)?
  16. It's certainly not a common problem & at the moment the developers don't have a public help site. Have you installed patch 1?
  17. You need to use Skypat's cat extractor (available in the download section at Biohaz) - it is in Strike Fighters\Objects\ObjectData.cat (near the bottom of the list). PS. I know where Port Glasgow is I'm just to the north of the Clyde tunnel.
  18. The files should have a readme for installation. Missions are just text files with .msn instead of .txt & they go into the mission folder - it's as easy as that. Should be a few to download around the web before you start to make your own.
  19. Yes, it is there but you need to use Skypat's cat extractor (available in Biohaz files area) to extract the .ini from Wings over Vietnam\Flight\FlightData.cat.
  20. Well, I haven't seen it because I haven't added counter measures to every aircraft (because they didn't have them) nor used missiles that didn't exist. You must remember that the countermeasures are being enabled by hacks - TK hasn't fully implemented everything in the game engine let alone tweaked it. However, if you have read about Vietnam then you will know that the AIM-7 was known as "the Great White Hope" - it ws notoriously unreliable often simply falling away from the a/c or going ballistic. As I said about a 4% hit rate.
  21. The files are also available in the downloads section of Biohaz

  23. SeaHawk F.1_early

    Version

This varient represents an aircraft from the first batch of 35 Sea Hawk F.1s. It differs from later versions in that the tail fairing, expended brass chutes, and ram air intake on the nose are not present. There were several other minor differences that don't show up on the model and were of minimal consequence. Armament consists of four 20mm Hispanos. Simple and to the point... Later varients could carry bombs and rockets so there will be fun for us mud movers too.

  25. They didn't but shortly thereafter they did following experience. Pretty much the same with ECM. e.g. in early years chaff tended to be laid by dedicated aircraft with pods - some pilots shoved handfuls of chaff into their speedbrakes to give them a 1 shot ability. Afaik none had flares (pods became available later & later mks of aircraft gained internal dispensers). btw iirc in Vietnam no. of US radar guided missiles expended versus hits was about 4% & that was without the Migs having chaff ...
