  1. I can tell you that that is 100% not true.

  3. A post on SimHQ says that it is now in stock & shipping in 1 store. http://www.simhq.com/simhq3/sims/boards/bb...;f=121;t=000496
  4. saitek x52 or x-45

X36USB is better than the X45 (has a better gimbal system). As for the X52 nobody has had a play with it yet afaik. It has some interesting things (Hall effect sensors for 1) & some that appeal less (twist rudder - ugh! although you can lock it out). I would wait for some reviews first.
  5. MJ, we need our own Top 25

Was just going to post exactly the same comment. I must admit that I haven't played 25 flightsims let alone all flying games though.
  6. Available at http://www.column5.us/
  7. In real life Afterburner comes in beyond 100% miltary power afaik so you would actually want it to come in at 100% & go to e.g. 130%. You may be able to achieve something similar if your joystick has detents & a way of adjusting the axis in software - but afaik the ingame gfx will always show it coming in at 70% on those aircraft that have it.
  8. Those functions are not yet implemented in the game engine (but they will be at some point). As it happens in the games original timespan those functions were extremely rare - e.g pilots used to stuff chaff into the airbrakes to give them a once only use.
  9. There is definitely a 109 in the works although I can't remember which exact model.
  10. Details of European distribution too if you have any info please Peter.
  11. Smilies!!!

Cool! I never was too keen on the square ones.
  12. I did an ATI 800PRO x ATI9800PRO Benchmark test

But how often do you play 3DMark? ;) Fps/image quality is where it's at .... :)

  14. I think that he downloaded it from me a few days before your post.
  15. Fair Strike confirmed for UK

No, I have shied away from it. I tried the demo & didn't like it & whilst the full release is supposedly better feedback is that it is still arcadey.
  16. Column5 has a preview up http://www.column5.us/wov.htm
  17. Saitek Cyborg Evo

I've never owned 1 but they seem to get a decent rep. They have had a bit of a problem with drift (not the only ones though - both TM & Logitech have too so I suspect MS changed something) but Saitek have updated drivers & brought out a deadzone utility.
  18. AeroCool Computer

    Yup, it's a lubic http://www.aerocool.com.tw/aerocool-files-...bic/gallery.htm
  19. Fair Strike confirmed for UK

It's been out for about a month in the UK already.
  20. as Wolf 257 said you will have to wait until Mad Jeff or someone else checks it & puts it on the ftp (I don't have authority for the ftp).
  21. Growler67 & darkpresence=JW= As Weasel_87FIS said http://www.wovgame.com/ It's based on the SF P1 engine which has come a long way (some far better community addon terrains than the original desert now too) so it will run on reasonably modest hardware. It's a standalone rather than an expansion pack.
