Drag chutes....and flares,a question on these.
LeadZeppelin replied to Dagger's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
hmmm don't know if I understand this. I have seen the animation keys in the Options 'control' section, but left them unassigned as I do not know where they are for or how to use them. Would it be too much to ask to explain these keys or perhaps tell me where I can find out in this forum or elsewhere? Thanks Fubar512 -

Thanks Fubar512, that was a quick response. Does that mean that it only works when built in the .lod file, or that the feature does not work at all yet? -

A bit of an old topic, however I still have no luck deploying a dragchute. I know the F-105 had one but so far no drag chute deploys when I land. I have read in another topic (that I cannot find anymore) that you have to pop out the airbrake and then hit Ctrl B, but as I said. nothing happens. Does somebody know how it works? -
Falling in love with the F-8 Crusader...
LeadZeppelin replied to F-4PhantomII's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Crusader is one of my favorites too. Saw a real one on board USS Midway (CV-41) in the Bay of San Diego last month. CV-41 is now a floating museum. When you get a chance go and visit. All famous Navy aircraft are aboard: Phantom, Vigilante, Skywarrior, Scooter etc, but for me the F-8 Crusader was the best and in what I think it's most striking color scheme, that of VF-111 'Sundowners' complete with pilot figure and sun-rays helmet. See pics below: (Last pic shows CVN-68 Nimitz in the background moored at the naval base on Coronado Peninsula)
